  1. Can you put spoilers on mobile? Bc I have a bunch of playlists I wanna post but I don't want them taking up too much space
  2. BTD > UV > P = HM >> LFL > LDR >>>>> NFR Born To Die -5/5 BTD will probably always be my favorite album of all time, the production is so cinematic and the lyrics are so dramatic, and it's always made me feel things like no other album can. Ultraviolence -5/5 I love UV with my whole heart, and it's a very close second to BTD. This album is glorious and I doubt there will be an album that compares. Paradise/Honeymoon -5/5 Sometimes I like Paradise more, and sometimes I like HM more, but the production on both is just so lush, I cant help but to adore both, and I always come back to them Lust for Life - 4/5 Half the album is great and half is just hugely disappointing. I don't actively dislike any songs on the album, but it had so much unused potential, and what we got doesn't compare to the demos and the original vision lana had in mind when creating LFL Lana Del Ray - 4/5 LDR is a good album. I absolutely love some of its songs, but David Kahne's weird production quirks make it hard to enjoy as a whole as much as her other albums Norman Fucking Rockwell - 2 or 3/5 This album is boring as hell. There are definitely good, maybe even great, songs, but overall, the production and lyricism are the most safe, boring, and just least "Lana" of all her albums. I'm hoping this changes in the future. Side note- I've never disliked a song Lana has released until Bartender
  3. I think the the 2013-2014 leaks were still really good lyrically, and the Honeymoon/Lust for Life eras were pretty good too, but NFR just had such lackluster lyrics. Idk if she actually lost inspiration or if she was just trying to fit into the mainstream and appeal to critics or if her new lyrical direction is just what happens to inspire her now. Her voice is gorgeous, which helps, but I really do hope NFR isn't indicative of her new musical direction. I do love a few of the songs on the songs on the album, but I'm hoping the next album has more cinematic production and more dramatic lyricism (but either way I'll buy and listen lol).
  4. Does anyone know who made this and if there are more like it for the other albums? I want to use them to make demo/instrumental cover art https://imgur.com/a/4CpVFB1
  5. Does anyone know where I can find scans of the NFR booklet? Edit: Nevermind got it Edit 2: I'm actually reorganizing my lana collection and trying to figure out all the writing/production credits, so does anyone know which versions of Y&B these are in the gatsby movie credits? https://m.imgur.com/a/4yuAcr9
  6. I'm pretty sure it's just an edit bc the only places I've ever seen it are those uncredited tumblr/pinterest type posts
  7. It wasn't really a serious theory, I'm just not really a fan of the album or his production so I thought it'd be kinda funny if it was about him, but yeah they really do seem to get along great and it's cute seeing them spend time together outside of the studio
  8. My theory is that NFR is about Jack lol, she started working with him bc he's supposed to be this great musical genius or something, and when they met she realized he's a lil pretentious and thinks he's the shit and she was like "I'm gonna have this guy produce a record that he doesn't even know is about him." Her mind
  9. In OTTR I thought she said "you never looked so beautiful as you do in that moment" and was disappointed when I realized it was "as you do now, my man" bc I like the misheard one better Also I still can only hear "makes me a sad sad girl" so that's what I sing instead of "makes me so sad, girl"
  10. Does anyone know of a good remix or edit of Hollywood's Dead? I like the vocals but the instrumental is so cheesy Edit: Also Noir bc I like the vocals on that one too but I'm not a fan of the laptop demo sound
  11. [Not specifically, but you might find these threads helpful:http://lanaboards.com/index.php?/topic/460-known-production-discography/http://lanaboards.com/index.php?/topic/8449-lana-del-reys-discography-recording-dates/ Thanks!

  13. Is there a thread or something with info on when lana met/started working with different writers/producers?
  14. 01. Born to Die 02. Ultraviolence 03. Honeymoon & Paradise 04. Lust for Life 05. Lana Del Ray & Norman Fucking Rockwell
  15. @@americangothic @@LanaRayDelMar Thanks so much guys, that was really helpful! Sorry, I've got another question lol. So the only radio mixes we have are Dark Paradise, Summertime Sadness, and West Coast, right? West Coast radio mix is produced by Rick Nowels, but do DP & SS radio mixes have different producers than the album versions? And this isn't a radio mix, but is the West Coast Rob Orton Mix produced by Dan Auerbach like the radio edit?
  16. What exactly is a radio edit/radio mix, and are radio edits and mixes produced by the same people as the regular album versions of songs?
  17. Can someone tell me what years the Lolita Demos were recorded? I saw somewhere that the 3:36 one was 2010, but I'm not sure, so does that mean that the other two and the Grech mix were 2011? I might be completely off though, because I thought Lolita was older than that
  18. I know the post is super old, but could you post your Paradise "deluxe" version? I made my own Melancholia type album that's kind of similar to yours, and I wanted to make a "deluxe" Paradise album with unreleased songs added in, but I have no idea how to order the tracks lol.
  19. So I like to arrange my demos according to when they were made/recorded or whatever, but I'm having trouble with TIWMUG and Lolita. For the TIWMUG demos, were the Peter Ibsen versions made first or was it the Tim Larcombe version? And does anyone know what order the Lolita demos were made? Thanks <3
  20. I don't know the genre for Honeymoon but I remember her saying something about the album being in "the tone of blue"
  21. Does anybody know which version of Video Games was on the Lana Del Rey EP? I've seen track listings with lengths 4:03 and 4:42, so idk which one it actually is. Since 4:03 is about the length of the radio edit, is that the version that was included on the EP instead of the standard album version?
  22. Can someone explain the Diet Mountain Dew demos please? Like which one is demo 1, 2, and 3? Because I see them labeled with numbers, but it doesn't make sense because they don't always seem to be chronological. Thank youuu!
  23. Does anyone know about the versions of "Trash Magic"? I was pretty sure there was just a demo version and like the regular standard version (plus the fan-made "The Man I Love" version), but I've seen one of the versions (the shorter one I think?) referred to as "Trash Magic (Edit)". Is the edit the same as the demo? Also, I thought that "Trash", "Trash Magic", and "Trash Sugar Magic" were all just alt. titles like "Miss America", but sometimes I see one version labeled "Trash" or "Trash Magic", while the other is labeled "Trash Sugar Magic". Is that just a preference or a common way to distinguish between the two versions, or do they actually have different names (like Hollywood Movie/Daytona Meth)? Also does Heavy Hitter have one or two versions? Not including the concept/instrumental beat
