I think I'm the only one that likes Liability (Reprise). I listened to it in a car driving through San Francisco just as the sun broke in the morning and it was beautiful. Then after those track-by-track podcasts, I realized how important the song was to Ella and now I love it lol. I truly love every song on the record, but I'm just not a fan of the piano-driven pop songs like Supercut and Green Light. It just sounds cheap to me.

Edit: After a few listens, The Louvre realllyyyyyy grew on me. It's so good and sweet and simple yet kind of complex?? Ugh.

I saw her twice! My first time was at the Governors Ball festival in New York. That was such a special performance because it was her first time back in NY in a very, very long time. Then, I skipped Day 2 of Governors Ball to travel back home to South Jersey to see her in Atlantic City! (then went back to the festival for day 3 lol) Atlantic City was pretty special, too, because she's been there before she was Lana Del Rey and has some memories of the city and the state in general.

Both were great, but the AC show was nuts. The fans were pushing and shoving every time she came down to the crowd. I was in the fourth-ish row of people in the GA pit so I knew I wasn't going to get a picture with her or anything but the people around me were brutally pushing trying to get to Lana even though it was clearly impossible. And everyone kept singing over here which was so annoying. (I think a girl broke her leg and had to get escorted out, too, but it could've been at Gov Ball lol) Lana fans are the worst lol.

God those track-by-track podcasts were amazing. I wish more artists would tell the stories behind their individual songs. It made me appreciate songs I don't care for (like Supercut) and love the songs I do like even more (Homemade Dynamite, Writer In The Dark, The Louvre, Hard Feelings / Loveless).

This will always be my favorite album of all time. Nothing can every beat it.

My dad looooves BTD (song) lol! He always hums it, it's kind of cute   We went camping at Yosemite for my birthday a few months back and I played some of her stuff & he loved it. My brother-in-law knows her but doesn't listen, same with my sister, I think. My mom knows her as that girl I spent $400 on to see live a few years back for the Endless Summer tour & for Christmas she always includes the latest Lana vinyl if I don't have it already<3

My friends from NJ, where I grew up until college, love Lana but weirdly enough my friends in California hate her. They ALL hate her. So ironic. 

Lana: Is enjoying herself. Spending time with friends and family. Finally happy. Has new music coming in July. Literally has a lust for life.
