That's the story bitch, come back to America. We're waiting with open arms
Hope she brings her topiary pony! Is she just working on homes all around the globe or what...Also what about the house in LA she already had with Charlie? Fucking rich people.
She looks so fantastic, though. Barrie's bringing old school fuckability. Her realtor is a haute mess.

You were the indie queen of Coney Island
All the girls thought they could sing, but they’re really not shit
I don’t get it
You’re looking like a duck, you’re talking like a baby
How the fuck is your song in a H&M commercial, crazy?
I don’t get it, your taste once exquisite
What happened to Brooklyn, what happened to New York?
What happened to my scene, what happened to sadcore, core?
You called me the queen of the downtown scene, babe
How the fuck would you go switch it up and then replace me?
I don’t get it, I’m so legit
Tell me, was it ‘cause I wasn’t platinum in jewels?
That perhaps you thought I was a little bit even uncool
Kid, was that it?
Elizabeth, you suck, I know you’re selling twenty million
Wish they could have seen you when we booed you off at SNL
You’re hurt, I know my words don’t hurt, yeah
Oh, girl, I see you walking around in your diamonds
Thinking that you’re number one
You’re so funny, ‘cause honey, you’re not
What happened to Brooklyn, the last frontier?
They said you could make it anywhere if you could make it here
But where, no magic in the air
What happened to Brooklyn, what happened to our scene, baby?
Have we all gone Lana crazy?
Remember when the streets used to be dangerous and we were born bad
And we were born bad?
Sadcore, sadcore
The boys used to punch each other in the face and girls were walking around wasted
And everyone had a good night, come back in sunlight
Sadcore, core, core
I love you Lana but
I'm inclined to believe what @@DUKE / Lady Gaga said about the Brooklyn scene. Idk, I don't think there's much you can do to discredit the earliest struggling beginning of Gaga's career (other than her killing Lina Morgana ).

Haven't listened to it yet but I really wish it didn't leak. It's going to get really old really fast that people are so bothered about it.
But honestly LOL if you seriously think Gaga is SOOOO much better than Lana and that Lana "has a long way to go" before she can shade her then why even be on this forum like seriously. I like Gaga & her music but the ridiculous amount of praise her fans give her disgusts me. People act like she's god. Also, Lana can make whatever kind of songs she wants, she doesn't have to like who you stan for and this song wasn't even supposed to be heard anyway so shut upppp oh my god.
Honestly Lana > Gaga any day. The only thing Gaga has on her is sales.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA NO, even Rebecca Black can diss Gaga
However I agree with the theory that they met before and came friends or something, maybe she was mad that Stefani sold herself to become Gaga.

Cinnamon Girl liked a post in a topic by fruitpunchlips in Create an Unreleased Lana Album/Playlist
I just updated mine with the newly leaked songs. I have my unreleased in five volumes, based on Sitar's Velvet Crowbar and Tired of Singing the Blues work really well together and so does Match Made in Heaven and Maha Maha in my humble opinion.
And yeah I know Burning Desire isn't unreleased but it fits well with the rest. I work thematically and visually y'know. I am an artist
Slightly off-topic but I seem to remember that Lana has said that she has a playlist with 50 songs that she plays every day and tortures her team with, but I'm not sure if that's something I've made up because I can't find a source for her saying it.
She did say in this interview (at around 11:20) that she has an 8 song playlist that she plays every morning but I'm sure she's also talked about the 50-song one. Three of the songs in the 8-one are Teen Idle, I'm on Fire and Hotel California (which I've put in the 50-one too). It kills me that I will never know all the songs or the order of them
Anyways, these are the songs I've assumed she has in her 50-playlist and it's based on this and this interview:

"Am I glamorous, tell me am I glamorous" in without you. Also "Can you picture this, babe the life we could have lived" the way her voice sounds when she sings that live ;alsfkja
In Y&B orchestral version when the bridge starts (dear lord...), the orchestra sounds amazing + lana's voice, I get chills every time.
In dark paradise demo, the one that sounds completely different from the album version, the part where she says "i got the stuff TO TAKE you higher" the way she says TO TAKE i'm just i can't even explain
everything about live versions of summertime sadness. when she sings "i got that summertime summertime saDNess" the way she emphasizes the dn part of it. also when she sings "OH MY GOD" and "kiss me hard before you go oooooh summertime sadness" the oooooh she started doing on paradise tour ---------> here 2:04 i can't get enough of it
in brite lites, "i'm waving on the silver screen" part makes me laugh every time because i can't help but think about the music video...
in blue jeans, when the bridge starts and her voice gets super low
in video games, this version in particular, the piano on the last chorus, when she sings "i tell you all the time" gives me goosebumps just thinking about it
in born to die, when she does the "aaaah aaah aah" at the end when she sings it live
in TRASH the part where she says "he said, lana rey will you serve me lemonade and i said YES bill i will" the way she says YES makes me smile
oh god, also in burning desire, the pre choruses, where she's kind of whispering-singing like the "have to touch myself to pretend you're here" aksf;as'asg

This song sounds so heavenly. I think it's a much better 'spiritual piece' than Bel Air anyway. The lyrics remind me of clouds and floating in the sky and being free. Ah.

Is the sun in your eyes, easy rider?
Do the flame colored skies light your fire?
We are heavy metal lions, they will never understand
The kind of people you or I am, bow your heads and take your hands
They were angels forever, forever angels
They were angels forever, forever angels
Does the ocean inspire, easy rider? Do the stars and the wind take you higher? You are California proud, you are angels of the night Rock 'n' roll guardians now, the last keepers of the light They were angels forever, forever angels They were angels forever, forever angels
Paradise is a hell-colored flame sky Is it nice to feel free and wild? Paradise is the game of do or die I just ride, ride, ride They were angels forever, forever angels
They were angels forever, forever angels
They were angels forever, forever angels
They were angels forever, forever angels

Haven't found anything about that concert here - July, 15th, 2013, at least the search engine of that forum didn't have any results.
So:
I think she looked great!
Hope to find better pics than these and even vids, or maybe some of you have it.

The same categories that Born to Die was nominated last year.
It's so ironic how Taylor Swift's video was nominated for Video of the Year and Ride was not.

I guess I'm waiting to see how she handles her symbols and themes. As a person who tries to be objective, I'm interested in hearing from different perspectives, because I believe people's stories matter. Regarding the portrayal of innocence regained, as a Christian I admit it makes a difference to me whether it's through ultimately rejecting God or making peace with God. But either way, it's going to be Lana's story to tell. Those with a culture-warrior mindset may feel obligated to take offense... but I'm hoping there will be others more interested in the peaceful approach of dialogue, willing to really listen, and try to hear what it is this artist wants to say.
