It's no joke. If you want to be close to Lana in the front, you HAVE to know how to shove and push you're way to the front. How do you think that guy Win always has the perfect spot? He's a pro at this after all these years. However, some Lana fans are nasty, vicious and mean and if you're over 25 - watch out! They won't be afraid to call you "old" even though you're actually younger then Lana! I thank god I got to see Lana live in her prime years (2011-2012). I saw her live back then 5 times. This was before all the crazy retched fans, the pushing and shoving, the meanness and etc. More importantly, Lana actually SANG every single note without backtracks in the background and there were strings and shit and she looked like a goddess. Back then she gave a fuck. Now she's just going with the motions and needs her backtrack vocals playing in the background with her tacky dancers and her awful outfits. Anywho - After 2012, that was it for me. She got too famous and all the crazies came out of the wood works. I never went to see her live again. I'm grateful that I got to see her live back then and was actually able to enjoy a good concert worth every penny. More importantly, no crazy fan hysteria or 10 minute interludes of selfies with fans in the front row. So just be ready that's all.

No one can work with Billy Corgan other then Billy Corgan. The guy thinks he's a god. He's a narcissistic brat. Anyone who comes close to his radius have no good experiences with him. If Lana is in the same room as Billy for more then an hour, she would end up in a mental ward.

Very true. If you look at Chuck's work with other artists, it's a striking difference. Her stuff with Lana is bland and boring looking, but look at what she's done with other artists like Bjorn and Jesse Jo Stark and it's gorgeous. I can picture Lana being a control freak and not letting people do their work. I think that's why when it comes to pictures, she likes working with Chuck because Chuck doesn't fight back and lets Lana take over. Lana can't do that with Neil Krug or other professional photographers. The same can go with producers. The album is beautiful but bland sound-wise, just like her photos with her sister.

Born To Die and Ultraviolence was her Magnum Opus. In my opinion. Everything else was either beautiful, good or great. Although in the case of Lust For Life....

The only song I think Jack produced into perfection for me is Venice Bitch. All those guitars and instrumentals is beautiful. I wish he could have used those in California. Damn shame. I think the songs were recorded a little longer then a year....

It's like I told someone on another thread that was saying the same. If they know how to, maybe they can edit all the NFR the way she likes them. I don't know how to do that but there's a ton of talented people here and on YouTube who know how to edit songs and add instrumentals to them. I love the way Bartender sounds and Happiness but I wish someone can add a little something to California and Love Song during the chorus. There should be a thread for people who don't like NFR. There's always conflict going on with people who love the album who refuse to allow people who don't like the album to express themselves. Not sure if this thread would be good since it's for the next album Lana's working on.

Imagine if Dan Auerbach produced another Lana album? That's what I'm hoping for. Dan did a great job on UV. I find NFR album quite beautiful, but I agree. A lot of tracks are too bare and flat. It's a great album to listen to at night time when you're just relaxing. Some strings would have been great on hope. HTD is a beautiful song but the music itself is off (and those damn jingle bells) A little more guitar and piano sound in the hook during California. A twitch here and there cold have helped.

If you know how to do it, maybe you can make that edit to California. There's some people in here who do edits of Lana songs on YouTube. It would be interesting that's for sure.

This movie is going to bomb. They should have just left it the way it was with Drew, Cameron and Lucy. It's a joke seeing Kirsten S. as an angel when she can't act worth a damn.

Lana is not Cubana or Puerto Rican or anything Latin. She wishes she was. She has something of an obsession with the Latin community. She probably has English and Scottish blood in her since the surname "Grant" is Scottish/English.

Miley is a retched mess. I can't with her. It's funny because if you read the YouTube comments, Ariana and Miley stans are saying that Lana's parts were the best part of the video. Some of them never even heard of Lana but will "start stanning" now. My favorite comment is from someone who thought that Lana was Puerto Rican. Her exotic look and name has folks thinking that. I didn't bother to correct them.

Lana is not only the best part of the three, but she's also the prettiest. I will never get over how retched Miley is. Ariana is just plain boring. I don't understand why people make such a big deal about her and her ponytail. The song in general is awful but Lana's part is good. Lana is so out of place in this video.

Someone on YouTube thought Lana was Puerto Rican because how latin she looks in the video and the name. I didn't bother to correct them. What is it with the ponytail and Ariana? That's the only hair style I see her with.

The song is god awful but Lana's parts aren't bad. Now we need a font here to take Lana's parts and make a song from it.

Honestly, no offense, but Lana was the most beautiful of the three. She's so out of place in the video because Miley is by nature retched and Ariana is Ariana - but seriously, Lana looks beautiful. And Lana's parts were the best. Even Miley and Ariana fans on YouTube are like "Never heard of Lana but Imma start stanning" so Lana will be gaining some fans over this video.

I can't believe I have to sit through Ariana and Miley just to see Lana. How nice it would have been just Lana singing alone. I have nothing against Ariana or Miley, I just can't sit through any of their songs. I don't like either of their voices.
