maybe lana'll have a megan fox moment in the future bc unless u have a keen ear for what she's doin, it'll completely go over ur head. w even how LFL was trashed on here, there's been a trend of it being not so bad after all. also just WW is godly. there's absolutely nothing wrong w anticipation, in fact it can be sooooo great. this ain't no fast food drive thru, this is a (french) restaurant (which we need more music like)

might be a stretch but it sorta immediately made me think of how MDM would start too all lazily and then bam, like a heavy side movement of the hips w how jazzy it was and of course the drama of the chorus. loved it and still love it now. I KNOW I WANT MORE TOO she's serving slick n cold vengeance. 'side from BB of course.

I disliked how she seemed washed out in it at first, and then the sprucing came w the covers, and if it were implemented w a little bit more care, I think it'd be stronger and be even more uniform. their editing, less on banisters, would make the average listener think a little bit more to focus on that particular track, than the lessening of her own details for the others. which can be construed as inconsistent to the narrative n how the releases came out the same day altogether. but short answer, I agree too

it's becoming a lot realer than from before. the directness of the music meeting concrete, starting w how cocc obliterated a lot of her past work w it's apparent mundane (considered by many) I think was a resting period and another measure of her patience in how she edited LFL for the fans. that's why the music's a lot more dynamic, and perhaps it may be distressing how the covers seemed to be rehashed, it's obviously invited a lot more mental speculation. it could be a device, and unless the edges and edits are part of her creating an aesthetic quilt that she may later reveal (see the tape, edges), it still doesn't mean that we're not allowed to discuss how the covers can be tailored a bit more polished and refined. also, speculation's always going to be invited due to that contrast in how her start the visuals were very much filled with direct intent and precision. it shifted a bit, at least in reception at the start of LFL. LFL was her camp album. she niched her sound to her past work for it. NFR was mixed at least here, but users wanted more dynamism when for her, it was a healing period, and reorientation of how her music was to be taken in. COCC is shaping more and more as a breath of hers to take a break, following the heavy heartbreak that NFR portrayed. in the past 3 releases. the music is a lot more upfront, less misty. I still stand by how i genuinely love cocc's original cover no matter how others may receive it, and the single covers will probably most likely not be the album cover, and at least better than the doin time single cover from some (woman was decent, gave french eerie), but I still think that the singles would'n't've done much harm in the contemplation of her thought provoking devices if the lefthand bottom corner was taken care of better, detail wise, as well as the insertion of the focus frames. the concerning is centered in the possible permanence of them, and whether or not it'll be regretted. lots of thoughts as to why, but two cents. it gives me these vibes:

ditto on if the music's good, but for me, the style has to look like there's been some kind of masterful effort to it. I know a lot of people hated the cocc album cover, but it was still balanced and im sure it holds a lot of meaning. I remember the DT cover as well as even the more "crafty" parts of the NFR cover, in relation to her overly saturated edits, and i can understand what it might bring but it just looked so terribly flat. the border focus wasn't necessary imo.

I think maybe the selfie was like the moment when she realized some things about herself, chuck's photos weren't so bad, she shot some great stuff before, but bc she brings out a kind of edginess to lana, i'd prefer someone else to shoot the voer. at least, from the music we've heard so far. her brother is strange af but her mojo shoot was actually unusual n his vibe might match the music when i think about it

was admiring her album covers on vinyl and the special editions. the music's perfect to listen to while listening to cocc and I NEEEEEEED to see what the cover's gonna look like.

i mean I guess at least we have these 3 tracks to listen to while waiting but no yeah same it defo wouldn't hurt if we got some more news so we could pace things out. here's to the benefit of the doubt tho

I get BTD vibes from TB, the drama almost western saloon atmosphere done well, w a slightly more upbeat n romantic chorus. WW gives me IMF vibes, w UV heaviness in the chorus, n old money's glamor in the verses. BB reminds me of a more refined VB, w MAC's patience, n NFR's airiness especially w "paaaaaaaaainnnt paaaaaaaaint" mixed w the heartbreak from Love song's is it safe to be who we are n Hope's legacy of well, faint but lingering hope.

u'd think a triple released would leave us with some kind of underwhelm for at least one of the tracks but. on the contrary. ON THE CONTRARY

ya'll shittin on godflower godfire it may not be the best of the 3 but that doesn't mean it's not ABSOLUTE SEX SENSUAL. n that alone. if there are other tracks that match the tier of these 3 I'd be ecstatic. tb's pretty great and I'm annoyed at how much I hate liking it bc of how dry the verses are sung but it'll be the song that everyone remembers later on. ww again. pure sensual energy. bb. a delicate neighborhood of feelings. the fact that ww is the least powerful, but is in west coast's sensual neighborhood means soooo sooooo good for the album if it can meet these tracks respectfully. edited my post to further elaborate Sweet @SweetHenny

The haunting back vocals n dawn drones/instrumentation make TB the best. The chorus sounds rehashed but it also reminds u of like stumbling before walking forward. BB is the most enchanting drenched and tender. WW is a cold powerhouse. TB > BB = WW We need the next chapter, the music’s absolutely numbing.
