Totally random, but I was watching the Video Games vid, and god I miss her homemade videos. In some wyas, they're a lot better and capture the feelings of the song a lot easier than some of her videos. Don't wanna jinx anything but yeah, two cents

I remember this timeeeee. The magazine cover's so beautiful, and we all had hopes that an actual video was gonna come out from a prof fashion magazine shoot etc. Not to suck up or anything like that bc ur name is literally Lfl, but the Lfl videos were actually pretty great, and it took moving past an album era to really appreciate what Lana did w the Lfl mvs, the who pseudo Lennon, Blockbuster vhs feels of the title track vid, LOVE was phenomenal, and even BAR's original vid. Bc i know how it almost felt that she wanted the record to have been aged originally, so I guess that supports my theory on the vid rollout too. Still consider the record less cohesive but yeah thats another post Not getting my hopes up, but hopefully the series of vids that Chuck's shooting will at least b consistent to what Lana's imagery is. I can appreciate the whole industrial setting feels at the very least, it still regrettably works w the laid back vibes I guess I don't wanna know anymore actually.

I can't believe that I'm saying this, not just bc of the fact that she's the one in control, and how reality's stranger than fiction sometimes that she probs won't follow what we'd like, but I'd actually be content w the tracks we've gotten so far, and another couple or - to fill in the supposed 11. Kinda like how T Sivan released so many tracks from Bloom, and just had a few fresh left. Maybe she's just giving us this time to really let the music marinate, when the rest comes. Not to spread hope thin, but I truly don't think it'd b wise to speculate from one lilypad jump to the other based off something we'd deffo like instead of looking at things from her perspective. I mean yeah I want the vinyl to b pink, but it doesn't mean that my pseudo wish is even gonna be on the radar not to persecute u, sorry, just genuinely baffles me as to how we play idea telephone to have it seem solid af, and for so long lol

U know, thank u for saying that, bc i i personally dont think the photo's pretty sewer, but i wouldnt really like it as the album cover too. I hope the cover's a lot warmer than what we got. Paradise was the only one w warmer tones than the rest of her albums

I personally, think it's more in the vein of Change more than anything. Not just bc of the strong word concepts driving both songs, but also song structure, and how both are grounded in simplicity, two cents

Yessssssss, but I honestly think it'd be a great fit if she did a pink vinyl for NFR. The only connection I can think of w green is VB's envy lyrics, but HiaB totally screams pink especially w that bridge, VB is pretty playful so it'd work, and how feminine the songs sound together, IYC how serene and feminine it still sounds. Cinnamon is pretty gay friendly too, and I'd think of an orange vinyl w it before green. With Antonoff producing the record, and how he's probably revamping HTD, similar to Because of You, I'd say the records pretty pop, if not the poppiest record she'll be releasing and to add, idk I think of pine trees and perfect health when I think of a rich dark green. Not to sound like an ass, but with how the songs are more playful than they are somber, it'd have a kind of disconnect, and a wasted opportunity if she didn't use that to exemplify that playfulness through the use of a playful color like pink. Pink can be sad, w a pale shade or even salmon, can be sweet, with hot pink, and can be pure fucking pop with bubblegum pink. I'm hoping she comes up with a softer pink for NFR, to sort of play off how playful the songs are, even w the nostalgic sad songs too

I personally liked the VB video, even if she did splice old footage, from Hm even, but I think it worked, it's solid imo. MACs video, I thought I loved, but knowing how simple it was, and the fact that it was still spliced made it sorta thin for me. I'd love Yosemite to have a slot on the record, and that'd make sense if it were true, but we just don't know and yeah really any news I feel would temp quench that thirst, but again we just dk atm. The Jeff guy was totes random too imo, but maybe he could be from the fires too, idk maybe I wasn't paying too much attention. Edit: I'd actually be pretty (but still pleasantly) surprised if we got anything more visually , Hope's cover was just, yeah On a personal note, I'm so glad that HiaB is still alive and possibly on the album
