I laughed at the previous comment bc it is, I mean somehow true, but then remembered this one show about a flying nun my mom used to watch as a kid, and well imagine Lana just soaring in the air ala Wendy from Peter Pan in one of her videos. What kind of trip
How she truly got on top of the Hollywood sign -
I don't wanna sound crazier any more than I might come off as, but like I had a dream that Yosemite was freakin beautiful. It's so frustrating because I remember the sound of the waterfall of piano keys, and soft guitars and I guess it sounded closest to Riverside. Wtf

So we're all at least aware that Honeymoon was a touch inspired by the creature from Blue Lagoon, with its whole beauty and the beast dynmic going on thru vintage filters but for the first time i've actually felt genuinely spooked by the opening strings on the title track. I was gonna go out for a night run at our neighborhood park, and well I thought oh hey, maybe I should listen to Honeymoon on my way down the hill to run around the field.
The light posts were only lit down specific areas of the park, and there was this unlit part I had to go down to, the mist was heavy, the trees sorta felt like a risen swamp, and god it just made me anxious. There was another guy walking around the park, well I only saw his silhouette but anyway, it was just so different to actually experience that kind of strange peril from the song. I mean I came out safe wth, but it was pretty um strangely exciting -
it was so wild seeing the crossover episode to real life with Lana & Spongebob, it reminded me of David Hasselhoff from the movie
OHMYGOD wait. Hasselhoff was a pretty baby daddy in it. Imagine if Stevie did opera

Idk where any of this is really going but. Beautiful People, Beautiful Problems remains unbothered

LOL I think this was my post on the magical moments on LFL thread.
"When she sings GBA's bridge in the background during the final chorus
The "I'm no longer a candle in the wind" line from Yosemite
"
I should have formatted it better but I did not mean to say Yosemite's vocals were on GBA haha
It wouldve been so beautiful

So I was on another thread on here, probably late and all, but is it true that GBA's backing vocals are from Yosemite?

Although I love the album so much, I've noticed this records a bit more subtle and elongated when it comes to the hit and peaks of its tracks. I haven't heard anyone mention Beautiful People's bridge yet, for just a few seconds right at 3:08 til the next few lines, where her voice sort of echoes and fades at "try" with the soft, haunting synthesizers over them, just
Also at 5:29 to like 5:36, in Heroin where her voice just blends together thru layering and you can almost hear soft ah's towards the end, it's like listening to a group of sirens cradling you in the air
I love how majestic she sings the first lines of Get Free, especially with "Finally" with the strings following dramatically almost instantly she's enunciating the lyrics. It sounds so triumphant and reassuring
-
Edit: I'm like 98% sure this is presentation/background music from YouTube
Plus she mentioned Yosemite having a 70s folk sound
Another clue. I wonder how TNC plays into all of this . . .

Title.
Where does your mind wander to first, before having a listen to each of Lana's albums? We all know each record has it's own themes, so for the most part, having a different set of feelings (or not) would only be natural when it comes to listening to her songs.
For me, for the most partI get a rush of adrenaline when it comes to BTD. Hustle and bustle, lots of frenetic energy
Ultraviolence is the most like a therapy session where I feel easiest to vent, scream weep and let go emotionally
For Honeymoon, I can just unwind the easiest, literally think of nothing and just less, which is a big deal for me
Lust For Life and Paradise are when I'm most contemplative, Paradise when I'm feeling most numb and wanting to feel, and LFL to wanting to keep growing.
So where does your mind wander, and how do you see yourself thinking and feeling when it comes to each of em?

Truly a cult site @ the 800% pull back, trance tracks. Imagine users in a monastery, with flashes of Lana's mvs mixed with rampant rapid symbolism

I think everyone’s problem is that the book is lazy. It’s just the same lyric book re-edited over and over again. Originally it was just Born to Die, with the pics chosen by Lana. Then they added Ultraviolence. Then they added Honeymoon. And they’ll probably add Lust For Life next tour. Problem is, they’ve just been stacking the CD booklets on it ever since. It’s obvious Lana hasn’t been involved with it besides choosing the pics for the original version, and her team keeps pushing it as a merch collectible to make some tour coins. That’s why most don’t think like it. But if you like it and you’re willing to spend your money on it, then do it!
I get what you're saying and I agree.
To add, I think it would've been so much better to have each album separate from each other, with their own colors, and their own selected visuals. Collectible, and well, solid each on their own, like each album is

We all know how Lana's more than capable of eliciting all these emotional reactions thru her music, by her very singing. Like at the end of Ride, where she swoons her heart out thru higher notes, @7:20, like in Burning Desire, and Cola
https://youtu.be/Py_-3di1yx0?t=7m19s
Makes me shine, like diamonds, with the note polyphony
https://youtu.be/Te11UaHOHMQ?t=2m59s
At the start of Honeymoon's bridge, where she dips then lightens her notes, first lines
https://youtu.be/oPU8XJcA__k?t=3m50s
Or just the blaring synthesizers on West Coast @3:53, or at the choruses of Shades Of Cool
https://youtu.be/oKxuiw3iMBE?t=3m53s
Plenty of life thru the music. So, which musical moments on Lust For Life do you consider the most beautiful? -
She'll announce the EP at her last tour show
I'm really believing that we will get some kind of interval before the next full album, whether that be an EP, short film or movie soundtrack kind of thing
So my hopes for the next full album aren't until late 2019 at the earliest
Be her manager, u have my support
Wait, except for the late 2019 part
-
I wanted so badly to take seriously that follow-up EP with the surf rock beach sounds, it would've been amazing, but I just have a feeling that the LFL era's going to be longer than we already expect.

Does anyone have Lana's old insta videos in a compilation? I miss the ones she had for change, with the flag on it still, and the one vid with the buildings and traffic. I do hope she pulls a homemade masterpiece for Change somehow too.
and the rest of the album, so much potential -
Whenever I think of Cherry having a video, I immediately go back to SOC and the Bond theme flowers and guns projections. And swaying, so much swaying

It just occurred to me that War might be Money Power Glory's estranged sister. The calm verses, the explosive choruses, how you kind of just want to revel yourself into both of them and then walk out dramatically while the flames trail the gasoline just --

The prophecy's slowly being fulfilled. She'll make her permanent home in the UK, and so will her performances and tours. Lust for London feat Adidas

I'd love more of a 60's influenced sound too. The title track, and Get Free just![:icant:](http://lanaboards.com/uploads/emoticons/default_icant.gif)
On another note tho, it's been 8 months since she's released the album's trailer on yt. May 26th, July 21st, concepts and demos, Change being added right before the album's release
