Lol I wasn't even aware that the movie was based off a book, netflix can b a beautiful thing, but the character relationship comps does remind me of something that of a book. I liked how the whole alien and human interaction was done with this particular movie, they really portrayed it delicately, and the emotions behind the characters were compiled and interconnected pretty sweetly. I was watching the Host on nflix this afternoon, and I wish she had written a track for it about living separate lives. I always picture Alain Delon in his younger years as Salvatore. I'd watch it hahahahahaha. Bel Air's piano always reminded me of a classically drawn Disney movie too. I can see Roses Bloom For You as her being a Spring Goddess finally falling in love with a sort of sky captain I wonder if Lana could be in a Studio Ghibli film. The animations are so well drawn, and they always have this magical quality that always ties back to human life. I think it'd b amazing

See I could totally understand why you would've said that. There's a certain magic to these kinds of movies and I'd want Lana to be able to have a part in them. I was thinking more in the lines of Atonement (with Kiera Knightley and James McAvoy) because of the world they lived in, scenery was beautiful. Maybe it was the album trailer, but I'd really love her to have a song about space and being lost in it. Imagine she a had a track from Gravity or some other movie set in space? There's a beautiful silence in it, and I'd love how one of her tracks would sound compliment that sort of atmosphere.

Yeah those are pretty dramatic too. I feel like MDM would be more parlor and Backfire more Florida. The chorus for IWIA is right on the mark in sound, but I'm not sure how much of a magnitude it'd have.

What kind of movies do you think she'd like to write for and compose? I can see that definitely, but for me that's more of when there's still a breeze blowing on its own, and there's foliage rustling when I look up. Still hot, but more of how it makes you lazy and just want to lounge around. It's more domesticating. I'd be comfortable sweating all the way to dizziness, that kinda heat, that lust for freedom I know you'll have fun tho either way, so hope u bring some cool drinks and some friends on your way to the beach if or when that all happens

So, I was driving out to the valley last week, weather was blistering hot, and the landscape was just all white, greys, beige and blues from the road and skies. I played the album from start to finish, and not gonna lie, I left the windows down, sweating and god I felt so free. Lust for Life, just fuck. Fuck it's so good

This felt like ages ago, so I'll take the question as a compliment. I like it so much now. I have to admit, the verses still seem very ominous to me, and is more of a particular taste, but it ties well with everything else. So there's that. Change is a beautiful song, and I like how solemn it is, but I can't imagine myself singing the verses alone for a while
