I actually like what I've listened to so far with the Avener rework. It's a trip

I laughed harder than I should I have, but it's trueeeeee. Plot twist, it's actually going to have a monologue first, and then half of it will be of men fixing the Mustang after needing a service change.

I love how Get Free has that distinct beach sound, sorta reminds me still of 60's girl group. I like how upbeat yet soft it is. Those backing vocals yessss

I wonder what camera angles they'll use for the music video. Racing videos always have the most interesting use of em. Will the vid also have some sort of lasers to it?

Ngl, I'm real happy that the album turned out the way it did. It wasn't overly sweet and jovial and all that shit, there's tension to it, about wanting to live, and tbh who doesn't, can't relate to that? If someone wanted an album glossed over, I'm pretty sure other vices could cover those bases.

I've been listening to the record for on repeat til now. Aside from its various sounds, it's also so cohesive and idk it makes me feel like I'm sort of witnessing history even more keenly, so that's a plus. The record's so grounding

Aside from the obvious Selena G cameos, and the other girl just randomly posing on the beach with the lighting that doesn't really match the rest of the video's ambience, the video for Summer Bummer was pretty nice to watch. It always reminded me of the operatic theme and would just make me feel dizzy when I listen to it. The lyrics I loved, but the violins and the slow beat felt warped and stretched out during the verses. I wanted to stir something up to liven up this thread and say that maybe she's taking a bit longer to release the WM video was because she was going to make a mini film out of it, only that I just remembered the last time she did that with Freak, Art Deco wasn't the second part of it but girls together swimming pretty like underwater. On another note imagine if Music To Watch Boys To had underwater hunks in them, I wouldn't mind 5, 10 min of that a single bit.

Hmmm, I remember having posting something similar to this one time, but it's a fun one so imma do it again BTD - I like listening to this downtown at night, usually in urban areas, all desolate. By train tracks and the subway. Paradise - Driving to Las Vegas, going to Las Vegas and leaving too. In the desert, or anywhere during sunset. UV - At the beach, at the pier, on the rides at night. Driving to it real late is the best. HM - The suburbs, during the day, and downtown at night. LFL - Driving in the valley, during the day, and just reveling in it with the windows down, trying to beat the heat.
