  1. i already know Margaret's gonna be so good after a good long day. slightly drunk just relaxing, or like a shower after a beach day
  2. Lana wrote this album, broke our hearts no doubt, and then said here, empower urself and twerk to peppers forreal if there's pain, there's gotta be something more to grow you. 🧡
  3. let the light in's such a beautiful folksy psychedelic bubble of a track, all bright, but it's even more heartbreakingly beautiful cus of it's later placement in the album.
  4. this is gonna sound so silly n obscure but imma get a taco and commemorate the album to it among other things
  5. paris, texas reminds me of monica bellucci's malena, where basically the town she lives in treats her like shit bc their husbands and men all wanna bed her, and w her husband being in the war, had to fend for herself to the point of selling herself, and only when the town could sully her reputation was the only time they treated her as a human, eventually. i haven't watched it in full, so maybe not fully nuanced, but it's a terrible lesson in how others and their jealousy can destroy. and it's terrible cus i'm not sure if it was meant to be like some tragedy, but maybe it's like a reflection of society and varying levels of awareness. never let ur insecurity be used as a weapon to tear someone else down. work on that shit. drop that ugly ass behavior
  6. fingertips sounds like a garden at night, with a pill shaped gazebo near a fountain, sounds like an intergalactic space opera where the heroine just wakes up from a coma and realizes the time she lost... yeeeeeeeeeeeeees this album's got me compartmentalizing too much
  7. how the light gets in, that's how the ^light gets in.... her slight inflection reminds me of Stevie's Landslide, her voice sounds like something softly touching water when it rises
  8. honestly haven't been able to listen as intently, i'm on kintsugi rn, and it's a nice serene moment. pepper's been on replay, n thanks, nice seein ya interact on here too :')
  9. the jon batiste interlude sounds like a cult initiation, and i'm thinking it might be a sensitive topic if he's the pastor, but sonically, it captures a terrifying kind of beauty and out of body experience u might have beyond yourself however that hits, it's incredibly soulful yet still real elegant and sensual. I love it.
  10. for a sec i forgot candy necklace was rockafella and i was surprised but then it reminded me of how much the snippet carried the pre release and it's a GORGEOUS song the dissonance as an artistic choice
