I'm so judge-y now but if Lana still uses the music videos as background visuals for her tour (I don't mind if she uses the horses for White Mustang since the song is new), a part of me still thinks she'll play for only one hour just like on festivals. New scene, same songlist. I hope I'm wrong since this is a world tour, which is something huge to do, and I hope she plays some new LFL songs to promote the album. But I think she'll boycott the more political songs since being a proud American might be sensitive to some these days. But probably not her fans. I think she'll show up in dresses. Maybe she saved the dresses for the tour and that's why she's been playing in black top + jeans lately? (Ok, wishful thinking, we all know that's not why she loves her jeans lately) Anyway. If she plays less than an hour, I'm pretty sure her fans will go mad since the tickets were so expensive and the critiques will probably write that she ends quickly after greeting her fans at the end of OTTR. So can we expect 30-40 minutes of Jhené/Kali Uchis, waiting time and then 1 hour (hoping for 1+ for you who are going to see her) with Lana?

I listened to it a few minutes ago. And man. That must have been one of the WORST songs I've ever heard! After hearing the snippet, I thought the chorus would also have a sweet, mellow beat with just some extra oomph. And I'm not that mad that Lana only co-sang on some lines (because it sounded good), but I was really expecting more when it said "feat. LDR". At least a verse or a bridge dedicated to her. But I get it, they probably wanted to write feat. Lana since it gives very good promotion and I guess they can't really put her name as back-up singer... but I honeslty felt like she only was a backup singer. And the chorus didn't fit the verses at all. Bleh. And repeating "god save our young blood" multiple times without any emotion... boooooring. I tried listening to American Money and liked it, but then lost all interest after a few weeks. I don't think I'll listen to this collab ever again and I don't think I'll ever get interested in Borns again, sorry. He can stay friends with Chuck and Lana, but Lana, at least accept a proper song before singing in it. I dunno, I'm just disappointed. I'm out.

Last song was Blue Jeans when I watched the music videos. First song I played was Salvatore, and then I listened to the whole Honeymoon album (and mom listened to some of them too!).

Hm, when you look at how it's built, it seems to have an intro --> verse --> chorus --> verse --> chorus --> bridge? --> chorus x2 with abrupt ending The second verse looks different from the first one, so maybe that's where Lana will sing her part of the song. The bridge looks similar to the first verse ("spinning and we can't sit still//baptised in blue skies" etc from the snippet) so maybe it's just the same. And it looks like the chorus will have much more instruments so it'll be louder. (I tried to look at this to get a hint of what the song will sound like:) I was excited about the song last morning but I don't feel the same now, sadly. I hope Lana will surprise me, but I know she'll be excellent as always. ♥

Oh I don’t know... the more time passes, and the closer we get to the first tour date, I lose more faith that she will release any more tour dates, especially in Europe. She didn’t sound interested in going back to where she was this year but also added that she’d love to come back to Poland in a few months... I don’t know what she’s thinking. Tickets for any added summer dates should go on sale soon, at least before spring. So I think I’ll definitely gonna miss my chance of seeing Lana on the tour in April.

A friend offered to sell a ticket to me, but I check up what it would cost with a flight, hotel... and I didn’t include food or tour merch, but I can’t make it with my student budget.
