I haven’t heard from Lana’s German store yet, however, I did receive a shipping confirmation this morning. I wrote to Inhaler’s global webshop as well because I realized after being confused for like an hour, that the package could be from them too. I had ordered a yellow vinyl at the beginning of March, but since the package said it was in Germany I just assumed it was the Lana vinyl and not Inhaler (which is UK/Ireland based). I got a reply from this store yesterday while I was at the Ocean Blvd listening party. I assumed the yellow vinyl was pressed in Dublin (because that’s what the band had shown on their social media accounts) but I didn’t get a clear answer where it originated from, I think? The reply just said that “we ship these items worldwide with either a courier option or standard delivery from the UK” but that doesn’t explain to me why it came all the way from China... hm. And the rest of the mail just said they’re not responsible for any additional taxes. But yeah, I think this drama might be from Inhaler’s UK webstore and not Lana’s German store. I think I’ll let it return though and make a new order, just to make sure the zip code is correct this time.

Same for me and @Greenwich Acid, haha, it really did feel like we were the oldest fans in the crowd! But we were like “we’ve been here in the fandom for like ten years, of course we need to be at this listening party!!” But yeah, as I suspected, mostly teenagers/high schoolers might’ve had time to go there. 16:00 on a weekday might be tricky for most people to make it. (I’m a university student but I just asked my group mates if it was cool with them if I went home for a day, only one replied and said it was fine so I went, haha. I’m lucky the album drops now and not in like... May when all the crazy deadlines before summer start to get closer.) Where in the store were you? Us two sat on the floor in the row right in front of the entrance/next to the wall with like t-shirts and new releases.

Though, I have to say, I’m not sure what I feel for Paris, Texas yet because I’ve streamed the piano melody that’s sampled in the song so much that I’m so much more used to it. I think I’ve played it at least like a year before we got the tracklist? Gotta grow used to hearing Lana on it now.

On my way back to the ferry to take me home after attending the listening party. This album is amazing, can’t wait to listen to it with headphones and catch all the lyrics properly. I’ve waited to listen to A&W til the album dropped or well, until today. Loved it, left the party wishing I could hear it again and then I remembered it’s actually a single - yay! xD Not sure what I expected of fishtail but it surprised me in a good way. A great way! Can’t wait to listen to it again too. I didn’t mind the interludes, but I’ll have to hear Job Batiste interlude a bit better before I know for sure. Absolutely love The Grants. I really appreciate that she kept the mistake at the beginning of the song. It kinda sets them vibe for the rest of the album? This album... is special. Very word-y like Lana said. Very close to heart, very close to Lana’s innermost thoughts and feelings. I got a warm feeling listening to it. I think this is the best we’ve gotten since Norman, and I think this might actually be better than Norman. Let the light in with FJM was really beautiful, don’t want to say too much for those who want to avoid spoilers. Margaret sounded like she gifted the song to Jack and his fiancé for their wedding. Once again, warm feelings. Overall, I just feel like, if you’ve spent lots of money on preorders, I feel like it’s been worth it. If you haven’t, that’s fine too. This album will please most fans, I think. Two more days, let’s go!

People around me and Greenwhich were high schoolers, I’m pretty sure. Not sure if they could catch the lyrics very well so we were like the only ones laughing at lyric lines or dying like proper fangirls. Also, this is Sweden and people don’t tend to be super outgoing? If that makes sense? So some bobbed with their heads to the beat, most didn’t. The girl opposite of us recorded the songs on her phone, haha. When Taco truck played, most people stood up, ready to leave towards the end of the song.

In Stockholm: they don’t start until 16:00. No wristbands. Don’t think they’ve handed out posters yet either. Girl at the cashier said people might arrive in about an hour, so no rush yet. I’ve only seen a handful of what I suspect might be fans outside the store. If you see me sitting on a stone lion, come up and say hi!

I really hope high schoolers won't skip school and snatch all the posters, I planned to do uni work up til lunch and then go lol

Anyway, I'll wait and see how this turns out, worst case the package will just be sent back because I didn't pay for the taxes in time but that's fine, I can make a new order I think. It just bums me out a bit. But I hope Universal music's customer service will reply quickly because now I'm really curious about it all, haha. Just checked my bank account now too and I don't think I've even been charged yet? I think I've been charged for my Inhaler vinyl and possibly the lighter? It's difficult to tell the difference when both purchases have been made from "digital stores". x___x

I get a code I need to type in on my postal service's website to pay for the taxes, and it usually let's you know where your package is when you do that. It didn't work though, not sure if it's because they've messed up with my zip code (I tried with my current zip code/the one I made my pre-order with, and the one they think my package is being sent to/my childhood home) or if it's because they have missed to update their system yet. So I can't check anything yet. My order status on the webshop still says "pending" though, but I think it does that until I've actually picked it up? I'm not sure. Haven't gotten a shipping email yet though, you're right about that.

Now I'm real tempted to let the package be returned and order from the French store instead lol. But I'll do what @yourboy suggests and contact her German store first.

Highly doubt it. It doesn't make sense to me that a order I made on her UK store to be shipped from Germany, especially not after they've told customers the products will arrive later than planned.

Ok, so I called my postal service. Apparently her German store is sending the package from China and that's why I need to pay additional taxes?? And the package has like a layover in Germany, and that's why it says on the note I got in the mail that it's from Germany?? And I was like "but it says in my order that I have paid for taxes already", and the lady on the phone told me it's her webshop then that have missed to give them some kind of number to let them know I've already paid for it. I also tried to argue that I've never had this issue with this company before but she didn't seem to care much. (and I guess that's not something she could help with) So. She told me I can either pay for the taxes and recieve my package, or refuse and it'll be sent back and I'll have to make another order. I'm hesitant tbh, I don't think making a new order will change anything. And for some reason they have mixed up my zip code as well, so I'll have to ask my mom to pick it up, although the correct zip code is in my order when I check my order status. So... what now? I guess I can make a new order, the white vinyl hasn't sold out yet so I'm good. If they ask me to pay for additional taxes again, I'll pay but I'll really fight with her German store to compensate me. But still... what a bummer. I made the order in December and I've really looked forward to this white one... I love the cover picture a lot.

The UK is a non-EU country now because of Brexit, but it says VAT included on my order for the lighter, so I hope there won't be additional taxes.
