"I'm no longer a candle in the wind" comes from an interview.
The chorus comes from the live snippet (and previously from the interview with Stevie Nicks).
"I was waiting for us to shine
Until everything was done and
Till this time all I think is"
^have no idea where this comes from, probably edited by some user that wanted to prank people or something.
Yeah, the lyrics you highlighted in blue I had never seen/heard of before, either they're trolling or they have the song (but I doubt it).
There was another part about dreams being different from someone else's in the chorus, too, though, and I hadn't seen those before, so those must be fake too.

Does anyone know where the source of these lyrics are from?

I'm low-key torn on the album's aesthetic. I love it because it's so diverse, but I feel like cohesiveness was part of what made Lana's aesthetic kind of shine, if that makes sense.
BTD, Paradise, UV and HM had imagery that fit the music, but with LFL, the earthy, 70's flower child look that best suits the songs, Love, 13 Beaches, Coachella, GBA, WTWWAWWKD, BPBP, Tomorrow Never Came, Heroin, and even Change, clashes with the 60's girl group look for the title track and Get Free (although the latter could fit the album cover's aesthetic). And then there are bops (which are the best tbh) like Cherry, WM, SB, GL, IMF that suit Lana's adidas phase. And then there's the sci-fi witchy and space theme.
Don't get me wrong, I love how varied the imagery is, and how she uses different looks and visuals to tell the stories of various songs on the record, but I feel like Lana always incorporated imagery that would represent the album as a whole story. I guess she did that because either she herself was not sure what she wanted the record to be ("Lost for Life") or maybe because this record touches on themes that are bigger than herself, politically and globally speaking, she wanted to represent different sides of herself.
I don't know, I'm just very interested in the psychology behind all this imagery that seems random on the surface but must have deeper connections to one another. It's Lana, we're talking about. Abstract, over-analysis is expected.

I wonder if Lana has some sixth sense abilities. Think about; she’s mentioned Manson before but most recently was technically when the record came out, which was a few months ago, and now he’s gone.
It happened to Lou Reed when she was supposed to work with him on Brooklyn Baby.
It happened to David Bowie after she referenced both his brother for the name of the song and “ground control to major tom” in Terrence Loves You.
This one’s a bit of a reach, but in 2015, Lana referenced Purple Rain on the Honeymoon instagram account, and 10 months later, Prince died.
And now with Lana most recently referencing Manson in Heroin, he dies 4 months later.

LA to the MOON - tour poster. I am really happy with the outcome of this! Hope you love it as much as I do

How do I attach images to my post without including it as an attachment? I see members having photos appearing to be pasted into their posts, but whenever I do that, it says that the site doesn't allow that extension.

So I made this LA to the Moon poster and wanted to share in this thread. Apologies if it's considered off-topic.

no problem! i always try to spread positivity because it's never good spreading negativity.
I totally agree; as Lana says, positive actions/thoughts/vibrations lead to positive charges

this is so beautiful
i love all of your edits, please keep it up!!! <3
Thank you so very much! I really appreciate it!

but she also stated that BAR and YS are ying and yang, meaning without one theyre incomplete
That's a good point, I forgot about that.
Maybe she'll release them as "separate little folk singles" then.

tea upon tea. hoping she lies to us yet again and puts Yosemite, RBFY, and BAR on the next record
As for BAR and RBFY, l feel like she won't put them on the next record, as they're definitely LFL era songs, thematically representative of how she was feeling, but with Yosemite, it's an idealistic song, with an ideal that Lana is slowly approaching within herself, so Yosemite I see a possibility.
But honestly, I just want all 3 songs to be released at some point.
-
I know it's old news, but what do you want to see in the homemade MV for Cherry?
I would like it to be shot using the same texture and film as the video for National Anthem, with monochrome red, with Lana and her dancers in an empty studio (similar to LFL beginning) doing the onstage choreography, interlaced with shots of Lana sitting in a posh hotel room, done up, with cherry earrings, just looking at the camera or eating a cherry. Then maybe some abstract shots could be included, like how MTWBT had original shots of Lana, the underwater girls, and the basketball boys, and then stock footage of flamingos and film cameras, etc. Share your ideas!

if ur username is anything to go off of....drop yosemite goddamnit
Okay but seriously, I'm with you, I need Yosemite, she hyped us up

Get Free is thematically essential to the record. You may not like it, and that is your opinion, which is totally fine, but you cannot argue that, with Love, it is where the heart of the record it is.
Don't believe me? Check my username. I state facts

Edit: your taste is near perfect though. I agree with almost alllll of these specificities
oops, I heard "out" this whole time. I kind of like it better though
and thank you! You've got near perfect taste too, then
-
To be specific,
Love - the last "and in love" where her notes soar high, and the outro, "don't worry baby"
Lust for Life - the anticipation of the moment the song starts; you hear air clearing, with the revving of a motorcycle, and then BAM! "(Uhhmmm) Climb up the H." The twinkling piano notes are beautiful as well.
13 Beaches - the moments the satellite noise hits in the pre-chorus, so unique.
Cherry - the drumroll pattern, when the beat drops, the quiet swear words laced throughout the tracks, and the "Why?" part
White Mustang "You're revving and revving it up" and the moment after the second whistle (you can hear some strings and piano and bass, it sounds like a sci-fi show theme)
Summer Bummer - the siren notes in the background after Rocky's verse, and the outro of those siren notes.
Groupie Love - the plucked strings in the pre chorus and the hazy, dreaminess in the chorus, the backing whisper of "having my baby" right after she sings "Having my baby right next to me" the faint moan/sigh right before "And every time we hook up"
In My Feelings - the moment the beat drops right before "Cause you got me in my feelings" and the bridge vocals. Bop alert!1!!!11!!!
Coachella - Woodstock in My Mind - that futuristic sound the moment the song starts, the first "I'd trade it all" and of course, the bridge
God Bless America - And all the Beautiful Women In It - the bridge, and the slightly folksy but regal instrumental when she says "Even when I'm alone"
WTWWAWWKD - "Shake it out, throw your hands up and get loose..." and the soprano vocals in the choruses
BPBP - The hums in the bridge, the last moment when Lana and Stevie alternate between "yeah"
TNC - the first triadic chord of "hey, lady lay" and the bridge
Heroin - the whole song. The bridge is bliss. Best song on the record.
Change - the transition between first chorus and second verse, the last piano note of the song.
Get Free - whole stanza about the rainbows, the "shadup, shadup!" and "touch, touch!" in the background. The moment towards the end where the shouty Lizzy vocals begin to overpower the sweet, languorous Lana vocals. The entire last minute, with the seagulls and the beach sounds, the sound of freedom.

This alongside your icon makes me like you random person have a nice day
Let's pray LDR6 is all about beachy happy imagery
Thank you so much! You too!
and yes, I'm praying too
-
When do ya'll genuinly think LDR6 will be released? Do you think maybe sometime next year like she did with HM after UV. Or do u think she'll wait 2 years agaon like with lust for life?
I'm thinking latest July 2019, but definitely not before March 2019.
She's going to be touring as well, so I feel like the wait will be similar to the wait between Paradise and UV
-
i know it's still early but what are yalls theories on the sound of the next album? like born to die has hip hop influences, ultraviolence has rock, honeymoon is romantic and dreamy, lust for life is sorta all over the place. so what do you think is next? i honestly don't know where she's going from here tbh
I want a surf rock, more 50's glamour California sound. Something like the fake snippet of Love from January that sounded very beach-y and like a mature Lizzy (a la Kill Kill or Trash Magic demo)
My icon is an aesthetic I'd like for LDR6, maybe a title like "Good Vibrations."
I was saying it in another thread, but it's very possible, as "into the blue" (AKA water AKA being freed) is a jumping off point for LDR6, and the end of Get Free is basically what you hear at the beach, so

I think the video of the rehearsal for Cherry was a demo version.
She's missing the "fuck" before the chorus, the drum pattern before the chorus sounds a little muted, the bass is louder, and the way she says "I fall to pieces" the second time in the chorus sounds a little less mastered.
Also, it sounds slower in the video, and there's a faint auto-tuned loon in the album version.
It could just be the iPhone video, but it does sound different.

Actually, I was thinking that too. Maybe at the pop-up today some fans asked about Yosemite's lyrics @@Roctab
