  1. I noticed that the BAR video was reused for WM, but remember Chuck was posting pics of the BTS of the Yosemite video?

    Why hasn't that been recycled?

I can see the EP being more acoustically driven, with LFL outtakes (and if the EP is meant to be sonically cohesive, I think it's accurate to say UV and HM outtakes will make the cut, and not so much BTD/P, and tbh, I feel like it's not true that it will be an EP of outtakes from each record, but I'd love any release), and

Yosemite must be a trailer single, similar to what Ride was for Paradise, with its video not being reused for anything because it's going to come out.

It makes a lot of sense to have this EP be what Paradise was to Born to Die. This entire LFL era is the anti-Born to Die, in a sense, and talking about a full circle? Having this EP with Yosemite would be just that.

  2. Cruel World - 10 - I love this song so much; the perfect, summery, desert-y opener for a perfect, summery, desert-y record. I get so nostalgic when I hear the first chords.

Ultraviolence - 7 - This song is very dark and although I find the symbolism very intriguing, I find it hard to listen to, especially after hearing Lana's recent view on it.

Shades of Cool - 10 - A masterpiece; very cinematic, with some of Lana's best vocals on a studio track to date.

Brooklyn Baby - 10 - Another masterpiece that brings west coast underground jazz fused with a bit of east coast flavour. The layering of vocals and instruments is godly.

West Coast - 10 - Another masterpiece, an iconic bop;  the chorus feels like time has stopped, forever savouring the sound of music.

Sad Girl - 10 - Another great song on the record; a lyrically simple track, but on purpose - the meaning of the song is conveyed through its repetitiveness and Lana's vocal delivery.

Pretty When You Cry - 10 - A masterpiece; the meaning is conveyed brilliantly through Lana's wavering and vulnerable delivery of strong and direct lyrics.

Money Power Glory - 9 - A great song with an even better guitar bridge. Lana's high notes are really great here,

Fucked My Way Up to The Top - 7 - Not a standout from the record for me, but still a very good song with a unique meaning.

Old Money - 10 - A beautiful, tear-jerking ballad. Very cinematic with a very beautiful meaning.

The Other Woman - 10 - I actually really love this cover, I think it's perfect for Lana and is a perfect closer for the standard edition of the record.

Black Beauty - 10 - A beautiful song, with a heartbreaking narrative; so glad she started performing this live.

Guns and Roses - 7 - I understand why a lot of people are not fond of this song, but I think it's very mellow, and chill; a bit of a breather from the very organic but still full sound that is so prevalent throughout the rest of the record.

Florida Kilos - 10 - An iconic bop. That's all.

Is This Happiness - 10 - Another chill and mellow and great track! Very calming.

Flipside - 10 - I like the guitar a lot in this one, as well as her vocals during the bridge. The last few guitar riffs remind me of the opening of Cruel World which brings the record full circle, in my opinion.

  3. I was at this show but I don’t remember that haha. Did she say it to someone outside after the show?

If I remember correctly, she told someone in the front row when she went down into the audience to sign things/take pictures. They asked what the original title of Get Free was!  She didn't say it to the whole audience, though, so that's probably why you don't remember her saying that :)

  4. Do you mind telling us what songs she sang in order after Lust for Life and before Serial Killer so I can post the final setlist? I know she sang the melody, Summertime Sadness & Ride, and of course Get Free, but I'm not sure in what order. Did she sing Video Games at all?

If she didn't sing Video Games, this would've been one of the first shows, if not THE first, where it wasn't performed!
