  1. The album release was the main event, the livestream was like a celebratory interim, and this performance is like the after-party. What a day!
  2. Me in the livestream commenting nice things at Lana while knowing she will never see them because I have a private trap account with 0 posts and 0 followers
  3. Of course! I think I remember seeing a "Lana Literary References" thread sometime within the past year? I think there was also one that had "Lana Inspirations" or "Lana Influences" in the title? I haven't seen them in a while, though! I'll try searching to see if I can find it!
  4. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill!
  5. cherri! We missed you, so glad to see you back here to celebrate BB with us! hope you've been keeping well <3
  6. She is so right about being nice. Like, basic niceness is rare to come by these days! And in terms of a woman getting mad — she’s not wrong #laywerlife
  7. That was really special, you could tell how much it meant for her to talk to some fans after the craziness of the chickens and paparazzi today.
  8. It feels so surreal to see Lana singing Living Legend in 2021
  9. This has been so interesting and insightful to watch - and to think, we have a new live performance in 2 hours too!
  10. The way she said, "Hi, this is Lana Del Rey" - I love her lol
  11. She is so sweet asking fans questions about themselves! I'd be like, "girl, this is about you, let me do the asking!"
  12. @Elle she mentioned you!
  13. I feel like Honeymoon and Blue Banisters speak to each other in some respect. There is the more visible synergy between Ultraviolence and Blue Banisters, but Honeymoon and Blue Banisters are both – in my opinion – Lana's most deliberate self-examinations. Honeymoon is more abstract and sensory in its reflection, whereas Blue Banisters is more lyrically dense and empirical. These are shaping up to be my top two favourites
  14. Wishing I were there but so excited for everyone who's going! The set-up looks amazing. I love when she does these little pop-ups because they're like fun, visual mini-worlds
  15. I am just so obsessed with this record – it is arranged so beautifully, it is so classic in feeling, it has sophistication, grace, and maturity. The lyrics are perfect all-around. Everything I love about an album. I imagine it will become my absolute favourite.
  16. I read what you wrote about feeling blue and how it led you to posting what you were posting on here, and yes, people have said their piece about that –– but I felt like at your core, you were just looking for some connection, and now you can have that without pretending to be an insider! Be you!
  17. Using my username privilege to earn Miss Del Rey her coins!
  18. I bought it on iTunes and it sounds very crisp and clear to me — all the little details are quite audible. I’d recommend it!
  19. The yellow vinyl looks absolutely gorgeous in the pictures people have posted online. 💛 I love how it’s a bit translucent and has this matte look to it! And of course, the sleeves and jacket and gatefold are beautiful. It’s definitely one of my favourite LP designs she’s done, if not my favourite. Can’t wait to receive mine!
  20. I love how classically-arranged this record is. Arcadia and Violets for Roses are so pastoral with their strings and choral soundscapes. The piano on Beautiful and Sweet Carolina is almost impressionistic and reminds me a lot of Debussy. There is just so much I love about this album. I need to save my thoughts for some longer posts about the record’s narrative pieced together + the actual musicianship that accompanies that narrative!
