No one is saying she has to release it just because the fans say so. People are getting more and more irritated because she was talking about the album, put out three singles of decent to discography-highlight quality, said it was done multiple times, and then went silent about it and started practically acting like the album doesn’t and never has existed. No one would be losing their shit if she hadn’t started teasing the album in September (or last March if you count the HIAB snippet) and just disappeared. That’s the problem. No one has a problem with her just living her life. What’s especially annoying is the inconsistent/conflicting information she and her managers have given (the album is done/she’s not finished with it yet). We’re tired of being in the dark because Lana can’t be bothered to even send out a fucking tweet or insta post about the album and would apparently much rather not acknowledge its existence. Major music news sources even reported a false release date and she said fuck all about it.

Unpop but I highkey hated this photo shoot lmao. Lana herself looks great but everything else about it is just so gaudy and tacky and just eugh. It hurts my eyes to look at. I may be missing the whole point of the photo shoot but I’m no more of a fan of it now than I was when it happened

I just wanted to say that I think a Lana cover of Will I Ever Tell You from The Music Man (with or without Lida Rose) would be absolutely heavenly . Especially with BTD/Paradise-esque strings and production similar to Blue Velvet. Ugh a concept https://youtu.be/wtn7KER4YgA

Same lmao. All this being said, the last four songs on the album and maybe 13 Beaches I still consider to be highlights of Lana’s released discography (@ everybody I stan TNC fight me). With some tweaking and trimming of the track list it really could’ve stood up with/to BTD tbh. I love LFL but I’d only rank it above Paradise

TNC (with the original bridge) and Groupie Love sound good to me. Summer Bummer’s features add nothing of substance to the song imo; Carti’s adlibs are annoying background noise and A$AP’s part is nothing that you can’t hear in just about any other rap feature by anybody. It would’ve been better off had she added the higher background vocals and better production to the So Good demo. The verses on BPBP are good to great but the chorus falls extremely flat imo. I can appreciate that she took such a sad, lonely song and turned it into something more positive but something about “we gotta try every day and night” just sounds lazy tbh.

Main Set: Scarface Roll With Me Maha Maha Brite Lites Noir Moi Je Joue Delicious Off to the Races Acoustic Encore: My Song 57 So Legit Lana would be wearing her trademark all-black Adidas tracksuit look with her hair in a messy ponytail, 20 feet behind the foreground dancers and no set/theming to speak of. All songs including the acoustic encore will be half-sung over playback from her iPhone, played into a microphone. A concept if I do say so myself tbh.
