Her pre Visions stuff will always be bad to me. Visions was a crazy improvement from Halfaxa/Geidi Primes tbh. Her pre Visions music is a mess to me. I get that part of the appeal is that it's a rougher more lofi sound but that doesn't make it good or artistically superior in any way imo. An album like Art Angels is far more impressive & interesting on a creative level to me than an album like Halfaxa. I also think Oblivion , Genesis and Be A Body strongly outshine the rest of Visions, altough I do love Visions as a whole.

I genuinely think she just made a more polished/less experimental pop album & is trolling with the whole sellout commentary thing like I really don’t think this concept has any kind of depth to it. She’s just having a more traditional pop era.

Good Ones > Beg For You > New Shapes tbh Good Ones rlly gave me that Buzz. Looove Good Ones. I really like Beg For You but it's missing Something like it needed a little more & didn't have enough Rina imo. New Shapes was kinda meh I like it I wouldn't skip it but I never find myself actively listening to it.

BTD’s one of those few albums I’ve been listening to since I was a literal preteen and still listen to regularly. One of the best albums ever made tbh. I’ve said this before but this album just has this special energy that can never be recreated. It’s not even my favorite Lana album but it’s hands down her most iconic.

the Euphoria song is cuteee I like it a lot I don't think she'll ever be able to top disco tits but that's totally fine since it's very hard to top excellence

Dua's an It girl, she understands pop music and is good at executing it, but at the end of the day she's also a sell out and will do what sell outs do. At least the standard album wasn't just a playlist with random songs and collabs tacked on for streaming numbers. It was a very good thought out pop album. I'm glad there's balance between her genuine artistry and selloutery lol. Still wish she would've done a proper b-side tho.
