https://www.franceinter.fr/emissions/le-mur-du-son/le-mur-du-son-24-mars-2021 France Inter Review of Chemtrails ! Original French available on the link, the below translation is my own. With Chemtrails over the country club, Lana Del Rey writes her letter to Hollywood, a declaration of folk love. Lana Del Rey, the glamour icon returns to sing to us with a poetic album, hovering and nostalgic for the 70s in the United States. A love letter to folk music, superbly produced by Jack Antonoff, with Lana Del Rey repeats and renews her success after the triumph of her album Norman Fucking Rockwell. Chemtrails over the country club. Lana Del Rey’s seventh album and can be heard as a letter to her country, the U.S. But it’s above all a record that demonstrates her immense talents, as a writer and singer, which definitively places her next to her idols that have inspired her, from Joan Baez to Joni Mitchell, the latter who she covers on For Free. Her latest opus is the fruit of another collaboration with the excellent producer Jack Antonoff, who also worked with Lana Del Rey on her previous album Norman Fucking Rockwell, which was immensely successful and gained critical acclaim. However, on her latest album, which has been released a little less than a year after her album of spoken word poetry, has a unique sound, the background is full of guitars, tambourines, pianos and various cords, the sounds are alternately enticing, hopping, lancinating, or minimal, Chemtrails over the country club is in fact an expression of profound nostalgia for the past. Lana Del Rey is nostalgic. In one of her poems, we hear her despair and passion for L.A. We feel that everything causes her pain, but that she still, cruelly, needs! Her album offers, in fact, two ways to read it, and envokes the Lettre à France from Polnareff in 1977. This is a true declaration of love, where Lana Del Rey sings about her grief for her country, as if in exile. But we can also see the album as a women’s desperate letter who is far from the man who she loves. A dual meaning that is well executed. The original diva of Lake Placid dreams of a certain America, vintage, chic and glamourous, she celebrates country and folk music, which allows us to breathe some of this air of freedom and lack of worry that was blowing through the US in the 70s. “Chemtrails” are those plumes of clouds that planes leave in the sky above the country club, but it is also a metaphor for evoking the stigmas of a faltering American democracy. If Lana Del Rey is nostalgic for the America of the past, she is also especially worried about her search for identity. “Are these my good years, or do I have none?” She wonders on Breaking Up Slowly. Chemtrails over the Country Club, a France Inter album that came to us well with a postscript signed by Lana Del Rey: « Pour- la- liberté » ! Lana Del Rey’s new album out now.

I'm sorry I don't think I chose the right forum, so please move if necessary. I just saw that France Inter, one of the largest radio stations in France dedicated an hour to an analysis of Lana Del Rey's music yesterday. I'll update as I listen if he says any cool bits. OKAY I HAVE NEVER HEARD THE VERSION OF WEST COAST THEY'RE PLAYING. I LOVE IT. Okay the radio presenter says that this is part 1 of a 2 "émission" special dedicated to her music. He says that her voice is truly what distinguishes her from her contemporaries, of Rihanna and Lady Gaga. He says that even through her immense success and her work with famous and excellent producers, she has avoided trying to "standardize" her sound, which is what often comes with success. He says the second episode will review her new album TONIGHT. WOOHOO I really am winning. learning french has paid off Translated text is my own: Lana Del Rey is a creation, an invention of her own, if you prefer, no more no less than Bob Dylan is an invention of Bobby Zimmerman, son of the electric salesman from a small town in the Midwest. No one ever said that Bob Dylan was an artificial character and, even though, in a way, he sort of is. Because, and forgive me for opening a can of worms, but all poets invent themselves. And as Lana Del Rey is a woman, a lot of people are less willing to accept that Lizzy Grant, her legal name, created a persona and that she lives this persona. “Video Games” is a song that can provoke a sort of discomfort. The young woman that we see and hear singing appears under the influence, as some would say today. She seems enchanted by her boyfriend, a guy who spends the majority of his days playing video games while, as we imagine, she’s working : The music video mixes archival images, amateur film footage of boys and girls from the past who are having fun, riding on motorcycles without helmets, we see a drunk girl in a dress, for some gala, being supported by a guy who is trying to stop her from falling over, groups of paparazzi in black and white, the Hollywood sign in the fog, the American flag sadly flying, and Lana Del Rey singing in a subdued fashion, no dancing, no movement, dreaming of a glamourous life that she knows only glimpses of, shreds, at best already memories of things already fading despite the fact that she is still young. Her life seems like a complete failure, as people who are that young often feel, because they have not yet truly lived. So, of course, that can make us uncomfortable. As much as Lana Del Rey enacts the image of a passive woman, not strong at all, who feels alienated by the gaze of the man who she loves. Of course, these are not things that she approves of, rather things that she is describing because she has obviously experienced them. Lana Del Rey: Video Games West Coast - Radio Mix Shades of Cool Blue Jeans Born to Die Lust for Life Fucked my way up to the top National Anthem Summer Bummer Bobby Womack: Dayglo Reflection feat. Chemtrails Over The Country Club
War In My Mind replied to Say Yes to Heaven's topic in Chemtrails Over the Country Club
It's not a booklet! It just has the lyrics for the singles (White Dress, COCC, Lmlylaw) and the rest is the credits. it's nothing special at all, at least not in my target CD or vinyl. -

Every album people be like give us BTD part 2, give us UV part 2, it's never lana venmo me personally 1 million dollars, fake fans. -
I mean first, she clearly cannot see that she had some of the blame to bare, due to the fact that she doubled down in each of the situations. But I think if the argument is that she should stick to music and that she is clearly better at expressing herself in that medium, then I think if executed properly, it could be a great way for her to reclaim it. So to sum up, it could either be great or a big mistake, huge. In either case I will be purchasing.

Let me quote this and clear up why it is not real. 1) it does NOT appear in the source code of that page, even searching for the price, this does not appear. second, the lines of the album are much clearer than the other pics, especially the Chemtrails pic. 3) all the other albums on that page have a "shadow" effect under the album, this does not. 4) why take a phone pic of a website when a screenshot would be easier and more verifiable -
