well, it's nice that Lana's nominated but for an ROCK album (ugh I wouldn't consider any of these artists as real rock influenced musicians, imo Lorde is even less rock than Lana, what happened to punk rock ? ) at least she's going to like this category because she loves rock music

FRONT ROW !!! I would never buy seat tickets. You don't see Lana everyday and you don't have to wait for hours everyday. I would line up for one month if I could see the queen again ! Of course the sound is better on a seat and you don't feel like you just finished a marathon after the concert but with a standing ticket you are SO near and maybe she woul even smile or wave at you... don't miss this opportunity

you can't really make a decision because each album is almost completely different. anyway my favorite would probably be Paradise. it sounds like a Californian summer to me and it isn't hard to listen to it. all the songs flow perfectly into each other and Lana sounds like an angel. my second favorite would be Born To Die. I fell in love with Lana because of her cinematic sadcore Hollywood sound and I love the themes on this album. I don't get why so many people are hating on BTD and Paradise ! Both of them are masterpieces my third favorite would be Sirens. her voice is so fragile and I love her honesty. all the songs are so emotional and it's so nice to listen to them just with your eyes closed. my fourth favorite would be AKA. I still adore this album but all in all it doesn't haunt me. maybe because I dislike the production or perhaps because... well I don't know perhaps she doesn't show enough emotions on this one.

haha I voted for all of the above because I simply couldn't decide. Lana herself is like art that was painted without trying too hard, it came naturally. all the single pieces wouldn't be that magical if you saw them seperate but all of them combined reveal imperfect perfection.

thanks for making me read all these senseless pages anyway... Future Jazz I don't think this will be a song title and I'm also sure that the album won't consist of classic jazz songs only. Like some others mentioned before, I think Lana talks about her self-invented genre. I know that jazz and sadcore aren't the same genres but both of them have this tragic vibe... Hollywood (or at least Lana's Hollywood "Hollywood's Dead") is something from the past and future is a contrast to that. Maybe she keeps her sad themes, talking about love stories and stuff but perhaps the door to her past love affairs is finally closed and she will sing about now and the future... ? (speculating, speculating, speculating, gives us a date Lana, I'm going mad )

I voted for Y&B because the lyrics and the melody are simply beautiful and her voice sounds tragic and happy at the same time. OUAD is a classic Disney song but even though Lana has written Y&B herself, it sounds also timeless to me. imo Lana's vocals are awesome in OUAD but Y&B gets me every time. I love to listen to it with my headphones on, in the dark, and with my eyes closed. It gives me this special feeling, I really can't describe it, it's like I'm flying

you're absolutely right ! I'm a huge Bey fan and I've waited 2 and a half years for a new album without getting any information at all. And then suddenly she released a full album. Of course I was sooo happy but also a little bit sad because excited anticipation is still what's the best about album releases.

If Beyoncé didn't come out with an album out of nowhere, you all wouldn't even talk about Lana doing something similar. Beyoncé said more than once that it was a huge risk for her and she was really really really scared but she wanted to do something nobody expected her to do. She has been famous for 17 years now and she had massive success in the past, she's also almost a billionaire, she has proven herself. Lana is famous for 2 and a half years now, especially in North America she isn't a big celebrity, she could lose a lot of money and I don't think Interscope would support her with a Beyoncé-like-release. Sorry but that's my opinion. Of course Lana always says that she doesn't care about sales and fame and all that stuff, but the record label does.
