I agree, Rick doesn't deserve to be dragged for Lana's poor decisions regarding Lust For Life.
But what we're also NOT gonna do is drag Jack Antonoff when he gave us Venice Bitch, which just so happens to be the best Lana song we got since 2015 (maybe even 2014).
You know what, that's also true
-
Y'all are like, this era is dead, she needs to give us a date, a cover, a tracklist, but as soon as she'll give it to us, y'all are gonna just discuss it for a day and then go back to saying the era is dead as fuck.

You give me more reasons to not want him on LDR6. Liability, New York, Writer In the Dark, Smoking Section have a very basic production (I'm not talking about songwriting)... Lana has seen sooo much better. Even her unreleased demos like Never Let Me Go & Paris have more intricate & layered production.
Everybody underappreciates Rick Nowells but he gives great multi-instrumentals for ballad type songs.. not just piano & guitar but so many layers.
Ok, I fucking agree with that, all of Honeymoon is the biggest proof of that and we all know Honeymoon is an incredible masterpiece, stop dragging Rick because of Lana's own mistakes on LFL

I wanna get this off my chest... the 2017 Complex Magazine photo shoot was not that great. And I think black wavy hair ages her/is not flattering on her.
I agree with you about the black hair. It looks terrible on her skin tone. Light Brown is okay and the color she had during Born To Die (reddish honey?) was gorgeous on her. Ombre looks good on her too but black hair fully is difficult to pull off for many people. For Lana it makes her look older and even adds weight to her face.
I agree with both of you. The black hair worked only for the Ride music video. Period. Everytime she does this heavy curls with her hair this dark...it really makes her look older and chubbier in the face. The straight hair at the Gucci party suited her, her face looked awesome, the last 2 looks with the curls...not so much. I mean, she still looked good but you know what I mean

She is truly the witch queen of the wasted LFL aesthetic with this look! Amazing..I kinda dig the weird gloves too

No, she doesn't need that much time for promotion because 1. She doesn't promote her albums in a big way for years now, and 2. Honeymoon's lead single released in August, the album in September.

That March info is fake af. Isn’t it obvious?
They just took info from the recent interviews and seemingly got the March release date from Wikipedia
Yeah, that shit is fake, March is way too far, especially the end of it
-
I mean it's pretty obvious, maybe she'll release HTD or another song mid-November (actually make that late-November) to keep us busy over the holidays and then in January, the Gucci campaign starts and she drops a promo single that comes with the preorder, then album coming in February
Also, instead of HTD, she'll maybe release that ''bigger project'' that Chuck refered to when speaking about the MAC/VB video, 'cause a bigger project will definetly keep us busy over the holidays
-
Actually, the most relatable source on Twitter, LanaDelReyWorld, said the news were fake
I saw that too, and they're right. End of March is way way too far, I'm still expecting a January/February release
I embraced HtD as a piano ballad now and I dont want any beats
Goddamn Lana
Saaame, and sadly, I think the album version will have the beats
Okay I wouldn't mind if this was the album cover, with that font
I'm 50/50 about it. It really represents this album's aesthetic well. But then again, I think she can do something better than this for a cover
-
Hmmm..seems a bit late. If it were early march it would be more believable...but end of march? with all the snippets she gave us, 2 singles, a third song performed live already...Idk
-
''The album will have 11 tracks-they will have surfy elements & a lot of electric guitar'' Well, no shit, that's exactly what Lana said in the interview she gave at those radio premieres
I don't know what to believe..seems a tiny bit fake but who the fuck knows anymore
-
This is going to be (or already is) one of the most iconic things that she's done. She looked so good in that ad, hair, clothes and attitude yees!
-
If not, could someone describe the video as much as they can in detail, please?
If you really want to see the snippet of the commercial you can go to the instagram updates thread. It's the last post, somebody posted a link that's still available I think...But you don't know it from me

This is huge!!!! From H&M to jaguar to GUCCI
Literally glow-ups from every era...She's evolving so much wow
-
Wow, this is really exciting. I think it's the biggest thing Lana did outside music that I'm experiencing as a fan of hers (I wasn't a fan until late 2015) and you guys are hype as fuck over this so I can't wait to experience this big Lana project with you guys
Also, can't wait to see what's she gonna bring to the mf table
-
I had a dream where Lana released the tracklist and it had Venice Bitch as the very last track.
That's it! From what we know of the album so far, VB qualifies as the only song to fucking SERVE as a final track.
And don't start with the ''ThAt CAn't hApPen, She's NoT GonNa End HeR ReCord wiTH that ''If you weren't mine I'd be jealous of your love'' LInE, ObviOUsly'' argument because that's bullshit, wtf.

LFL should've been 2 separate EP's obviously.
First one: the relationship/love stuff. Giving you the storyline too:
1. White mustang (We met one time and I liked you but I didn't get your number, but I know we're gonna meet again and then you're gonna hit me like lightning)
2. Groupie Love (Here we are, we meet again and it's at your concert because I'm your hot groupie)
3. Lust for life (Getting to the the H of the Hollywood sign---aka backstage of the concert in GL--- and we start to undress and have too much fun )
4. Summer bummer (We are already banging in our relationship, I'm your undercover lover babe, let's fuck some more in the summer while hip hop is playing)
5. Cherry (Our relationship is so intense now that I fall to pieces when I'm with you...but you're starting to ruin my goddamn peaches)
6. In my feelings (Now all of the toxic shit piled up and you ruined my rose garden, getting me in my feelings, making me sob in my cup of coffee)
7.Best american record (Now I'm reflecting on this lost relationship and I realized you did it all for fame, well how's your Karma now, loser?)
8.13 beaches (At this point, I'm ready to move on, searching some beaches to relax, but I'm too goddamn famous to find one right away, so the 13th one will do...however, I'd be lying if I kept hiding the fact that I can't deal with our breakup, 'cus I still love you and it hurts)
*Yosemite and TNC could be some additional tracks, as her reflecting even more about how perfect their relationship could be sometimes, playing music in the barn, doing things for the right reasons...However, I didn't put them there 'cause they don't really fit sonically and don't have good placement with the rest of the story either
Second one: the ''political'' side of things, trying to get involved into society, to be a good member of society and also to be a better person overall.
1.Coachella-Woodstock in my mind
2.God bless America-and all the beautiful women in it
3.When the world was at war we kept dancing
4.Beautiful people, beautiful problems
5.Heroin
6.Change
7.Love
8.Get free

Also, RBFY can be the perfect intro to this, as she found love again and she has nothing to hide now...however this love story crumbles to pieces by the end of the EP
