IMO it's a good thing that people are starting to see the reality of American politics. The entire system exists to empower the capitalist class and we (civilians) needed to see that long ago. if it's any consolation: most famous people don't care.

what baffles me is that Trump straight up quoted Hitler and Goebbels in one of his rally speeches by saying "one people, one family, one glorious nation" (they said "Ein Reich, Ein Volk, Ein Fuehrer!") and NOBODY on their side even batted an eye. I don't get it.

Why would a third party, if they won, have to adhere to that relationship? Wouldn't they have the power to just say, "fuck it! Bye!" to them? True. Though remember that people who drew the line in the sand with her over Palestine wanted a single state solution (in favor of Palestine). I'm unsure they'd have been jiggy with Harris at all, since she wanted the status quo (or so it seemed) If it's any consolation, the USA has been led by pseudo-fascists (Reagan) and genocidaires (Johnson) before. This is Joe Biden's fault imo. If he hadn't tried to run again, there could have been better candidates running during the primaries and Kamala wouldn't have been crowned the nominee.
