thank you! hey @That Venice Bitch can I post my version of One Piece of Tape? I didn't make it and it appears to be fanmade and not retail. What is the mod opinion?
  2. Being that Lana is signed to UMG, if Drake's lawsuit impacts the music industry, would that keep Lana from releasing music relating to artists she didn't like? Like could she have dissed Lorde (Fucked My Way Up To The Top), G-Eazy (In My Feelings), Ethel Cain (All About Ethel), Lady Gaga (So Legit), etc.? if they were released today? I guess I'm asking: could it have a chilling effect on artists talking about other artists on record?
  3. read the whole article but UMG's response to Drake's lawsuit is amazing https://variety.com/2025/music/news/universal-music-slams-drake-illogical-lawsuit-kendrick-lamar-not-like-us-1236275344/
  4. If this gets merged, these things (their transphobia and QTFC) have nothing to do with each other: I hate that I was reminded of QFTC. Having Textbook come out after the QFTC mess makes me feel her involvement in BLM and subsequent name dropping was only to show she wasn't the racist that people thought she was.
  5. The only reason it didn't get bigger than it did was bc of Lana's actions, which I do think she needs to address and apologize for. She knew people were talking about it and she decided to ask the fan pages doing that on IG to not post about it bc she knew what would happen. She knows it was fucked up or else she would not have done that. And since she knew that and was far more concerned about her and her chud husband's images than the content of his post, yes, she does have something to apologize for. A PR team wouldn't have told her to do that.
  6. Nvm I'm not quite a hater but she should not have used BLM for clout, especially since it added nothing to the song and felt not genuine.
  7. If you wanna talk about that I assume you could in her (Lana's conversation thread)
  8. I don't think they just hand out MQs unless you're really being disruptive. Even for my 8 (spread out over my time here since 2012), I've only ever gotten MQ once for doing the glitter gif thing ... Which I really want to be a thread now. (A thread where we only communicate in glitter font)
  9. Ohhh okay, I got it. I thought we or someone was being destructive or something and I missed it.
  10. My feelings about the specific preacher aside, I actually liked the sermon interlude
  11. True. The data hoarder in me wants to preserve it. Same with a few not banned but also not really good or listenable "demos" that aren't anywhere and don't seem to be talked about. I know they're just her fiddling with guitars and shit but nobody seems to put them in their master posts or trackers.
  12. mod note: user was warned for this post
  13. Okie dokie. Did I miss something though? Conversation seemed respectful. But unrelated: I really, really want her to collaborate with Billie.

Does anyone have a comprehensive list of unreleased?
  15. Ngl I'm always going to assume that given that she's Elizabeth Dufresne now.
  16. If that's a category can we have a category for the cutest trans girl with the biggest dick? I would win even if my best taste campaign goes horribly.
  17. I don't care. She knew who he was and chose that. But even if she chose him, she could have said something to that effect but she didn't. Instead she scrambled to keep her fans from talking about it bc that's all she cared about. If that's his only motivation, he's still a transphobe. And Lana enabled that.
  18. I can't recognize her at all! But it's good she hid herself so well.
  19. Outside of her music, she claimed to support the LGBT community, she claimed to oppose Trump, she claimed both IRL and in song to support BLM, and all that goes for abortion and other issues. Then she married a racist Trump supporter who hates all of those things and wants to violently attack trans women. And when she saw people talk about it, she instead asked people not to and begged fan pages not to address it. Instead of openly responding or affirming she heard us or talked to him or something, she wanted to do PR and do it in a horrible way. I realize now that her commentary on social issues are either lies or completely self-serving and that's it.
  20. After Lana marrying a violent transphobe, racist, and MAGA supporter, I look at her differently. I look at her in a way I should always have. I love her music and art. I genuinely thought she was a good person. But I don't think she is anymore. I should not have treated her the way I did, being uncritical and not separating her art from who she is as a person. So her and her husband being trash actually had a silver lining in that I'm not naive about artists anymore.
  21. Is there any evidence at all that Lana really took part in any Black Lives Matter protest?
