She didn't run for President this year bc she wanted to. She ran bc both Howie Hawkins and Dr. Cornel West didn't want to run (at least, in West's case, run for the Green Party). The Green Party runs candidates EVERY election for EVERY position it can. In my state (PA), it runs for every position. Democrats go out of their way to edge them out. They know the Greens can be a viable threat to them if given room to grow.
