Space tourism is safer than going in a crappily built submarine to the bottom most part of the ocean. We do need to find other planets or moons to live on bc we've fucked this planet up. Nobody deserves to die at the bottom of the ocean, but I do think they brought it on themselves. They could have gotten a GOOD submarine if they didn't unnecessarily cheap out on it and didn't opt for a tin can with computer screens as windows and knockoff video game controllers as controller for the sub. I don't wanna make fun of them, but they had to have known the immense risk of going in a cheaply built "submarine" before they did it.

the kicker of all this is that they wouldn't even be able to SEE the Titanic directly. They would use computer screens to! They really didn't need to go down there just for that.

I'd be heated if I were the family of the Titanic crew. They really made them look like hot garbage in the movie for doing that.

I thought it was mostly the poor, since the crew locked the 3rd Class down so the rich could get to the boats.

was anyone else disappointed? The leaks on Reddit were completely wrong. They predicted the new Persona 3 remake would be announced, Chrono Trigger remake would be announced, and a new Fire Emblem remake would be announced and none of it happened. Or was it my fault for listening to "leakers"?

ngl the fact that BILLIONAIRES cheaped out on a submarine kinda makes me feel like "play stupid games, win stupid prizes" is in effect. there are other subs capable of seeing Titanic that weren't crappy. they woulda just needed to spend a bit more to use them.
