I wasn't around when "Dum Dum" leaked, but that's the song that got me into Lana fanboards in May 2012! Soon after, Sirens leaked and that was terribly exciting. But probably "Serial Killer" leaking that summer was the high point for me.

Hey Beemo!
You know that flawless Trash (Miss America) cover you made for me? I was just wondering if you could please remove the 'Miss America' for me?
I just don't really want it in the title anymore. Sorry for the trouble!
Thanks
And while you're working with it, would you mind making a "Trash Magic" version too? Thankies!

...and ...AND... here's my ranking of True Romance songs:
1. Grins2. You (Ha Ha Ha)3. So Far Away4. What I Like5. Take My Hand6. Stay Away7. How Can I8. You're the One9. Nuclear Seasons10. Lock You Up11. Cloud Aura12. Set Me Free (Feel My Pain)13. Black RosesSo late to the party -
Breasts in an everyday context? How shocking.
Although what is empowering for Sky now will probably be used as leverage later, for plastering ads all over the place featuring album covers that are more about exploitation than empowerment. Followed by the inevitable overcorrection and counter-overcorrection...

if anyone wants to look flawless and fabulous for Tropico's premier in Saint Never day here is my tip. The video contains strong scenes against good taste. As it should. God bless shameless people.
Halloween IS coming too.

1. Trash -- love it
2. Diet Mtn Dew demo -- have you considered Lolita demo 1? It's one of the (3:51) demos; I'd describe it as "soft surf noir."
3. YBIATR - I can see this standing in for OSCYS, but it seems more country than surf. What about You & Me?
4. Hawaiian Tropic -- a must-have for the playlist, but I wonder if it would work best as the album closer? Could use Heavy Hitter here.
5. Boarding School -- despite the "South Beach Swing" line, and the noir vibes, it still doesn't feel surf to me. Maybe consider Party Girl.
6. Catch & Release -- Really weird, but I think it could work as a stand-in for Jump. Paradise (the song) is happier tho, and you could use C&R later as a stand-in for Raise Me Up.
7. Maha Maha -- love it!
8. YGLM -- I love this as a stand-in for PSB!
9. You could put Catch & Release here as a stand-in for Raise Me Up
10. Motel 6 -- I like it. (Does it represent RMU or Brite Lites? Either way, I like it.)
11. Moi Je Joie -- love it!
12. Pin Up Galore -- love it!
13. Behind Closed Doors -- Yes! Perfect answer to Smarty
14. Television Heaven -- Not sure why it's here, but I like it
15. Summer of Sam -- This song is so N.Y.C. I think you could close here with Hawaiian Tropic. Unless you want to end on a happier note? Then maybe Summer Wine or Driving in Cars. I also think On Our Way is a great closer; even tho it's not surfish, it could be like, driving away from the coast or something...
I haven't had time yet to check the flow of anything, so yours might be better; but these are the suggestions I thought of.
My "surf noir" (or at least "surf") playlist, just for laughs (I'm not entirely satisfied with it):
Party Girl:
Pin Up Galore
Lolita demo 1
St. Tropez
Paradise
My Best Days
Summer Wine
Jump
Mermaid Hotel
Heavy Hitter (James Dean remix)
Kill Kill
Burning Desire
Trash Magic/Miss America
Summertime Sadness
Maha Maha (version 1)
You & Me
Dark Paradise
Hawaiian Tropic
Driving in Cars (demo)

Hmm... going to take this on later today. I had a playlist with surf noir vibes I can consult. (And Florida Dark is my mirror playlist for AKA.)
I definitely love the concept!

"Like A G6" was released promotionally and free by Charli and MNEK. "I Don't Know Your Name" is a part of the Rick Nowels leaks.
Thanks. I guess maybe I'll pipe down for awhile until I finish reading...

Oh crap.
Anyone have year info/guesses for Like a G6 and I Don't Know Your Name?

Ugh Heartbreak High, Cuts Like Diamonds, Chains, and Don't Know Your Name are such low points when listening through her unreleased/miscellaneous catalog it hurts to sit through them
In terms of the music/lyrics, or because they could have been meant for future projects?
(I'm only on page 105, guys, I'm on the edge of my seat! WHY THE HELL DID HEARTBREAK HIGH LEAK?!?)

Well, I went to amazon this week to see about buying Pure Heroine, and I ended up getting True Romance instead
It is so good!!!
So now I'm playing catch-up on all the Charli XCX posts since April. And finding lots of goodies along the way (info, links, fabulous fan art). And 14! It's so funny, because its sound reminds me of early Simple Minds, who evolved into one of the best 80s bands creating atmospheric pop, and look where Charli is now!
Is it wrong that I still like Heartbreaks and Earthquakes even better than TR?

Congrats, Baby V! This is long overdue for a

(Happy birthday month!)
SH: Joking or not, this is the ONLY time anyone's ever agreed with Lana and chosen this answer. She's not a COMPLETE sociopath!Um, actually...
