I don't know if this is still considered fan-art, but I based it off the song Born To Die.

In awe of your skills! (Would it be weird for me to say this drawing would be perfect for Grimes?)

What do you guys think of "A pin-up in the lonely sky" versus "I been up in the lonely sky"?
Anyway, I think it's really clever how she plays on the definition of a pin-up girl with "You can pin me up if you like"--like, you stick butterflies with pins. Anyway.
I honestly can't decide which it is. Or which would be more poetic.

Noir
in Unreleased
I think I can hear her flipping pages in the background.
But yeah, it's a great song. I'd love for her to re-record it, though!

I like it. It's the perfect image -- ASAP may be riding, but Lana's doing the driving
I don't use the song, but if I did I'd use your cover

That Shane Dawson parody is the bomb.
:omgha:
IMO it could stand to be edited down, but man what a hilarious first couple of minutes.

I don't get that whole deep speech and followed by that horrible pop song. It doesn't match. I just feel sorry for Taylor.
I know... after that big build-up I thought he was going to turn out to be a serial killer or something... and then it was like, oh. He made out with another girl.

I wish she'd redo Afraid. I love the lyrics but I don't know what's going on with that instrumental.
-
Yeah, I thought of Brian Wilson immediately! (And Matthew Sweet, for some reason.) Great job, Monicker!
(Incidentally, it sounds great immediately preceding Lana's acoustic demo of Yayo in my iTunes.)

Okay, this one is called My Best Days, I guess the theme is reminiscence. The songs are kind of all over the place. If you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them.
1. This is What Makes Us Girls
2. Children of the Bad Revolution
3. Boarding School
4. The End of the World [Live]
5. For K (Sirens)
6. Carmen [Demo]
7. Pawn Shop Blues
8. My Best Days
9. Blue Velvet
10. Radio
11. Every Man Has His Wish
12. Prom Song (Gone Wrong)
13. Driving in Cars With Boys [Demo]
I wanted to end it on a happy note, I guess. I know TIWMUG is a weird opener because it generally makes a great closer, but I think the severity at the end with all the samples going crazy goes nicely into COTBR. And the grooviness of COTBR in turn goes nicely into the grooviness of Boarding School. For K kinda sticks out but I wanted it on there
I like the way these songs go together! Another great playlist
What do you think about this order:
1. This is What Makes Us Girls
2. Children of the Bad Revolution
3. Boarding School
4. For K (Sirens)
5. The End of the World [Live]
6. Carmen [Demo]
7. Pawn Shop Blues
8. My Best Days
9. Every Man Has His Wish
10. Prom Song (Gone Wrong)
11. Radio
12. Blue Velvet
13. Driving in Cars With Boys [Demo]

I'm a wild child, bright child,
Knocking at your door
You thought that you were done
But now you want me even more
Dum dum
You want me even more, dum dum
I'm a star child, big smile
Living in L.A., I'm coming over
Baby you can't go to school today
Dum dum
Go to school today, dum dum.
I belong to bygone era, like the Scarlett O'Hara
of the downtown scene
'Cuz I just wanna dream, i just wanna drink
I'm a pop little singer
Fam-bam zinger
Mansfield ringer
From the Hollywood silver screen
Silver screen
Once you've had something
Something so beautiful
You'll never be the same
Once you've had a taste
Of heaven my way
You'll be forever changed
I'm a wild child, sky high
Lying on your floor
I know i had a lot
But baby wants a little more
Dum dum
Want a little more, dum dum
In my white Mink Pink, cigarettes from the store
We're making robberies from Tiajuana, Tuga Shore dum dum
'juana Tuga Shore dum dum
I belong to a bygone era
Like the Bugsy Malone of the deep Sahara
Cuz I'm on the scene
Yeah I'm on the scene
I'm a bad jazz singer
Giving you the finger
No matter what, you'll linger
Cuz you like me even when i am mean
I'm the queen

if anyone has a request or something please do because lord I get bored
If you would attempt a Put the Radio On cover I would be so grateful! (I've been trying to make one for ages but I'm never happy with my results.)
Preferably with this photo of Lana:
http://lanaboards.co...t&attach_id=357
...with this radio beside her on the couch (unless you think it would be too complicated/cheesy):

Thanks in advance!

All I have to say is, if you listen to Ween while watching Sitar's siggie dance, do NOT look into its eyeball.

Love the making out one, oh my god
Thanks! (It was from Saturday Night Live, and they did all the visuals; I only had to add text.)

IDK, it's possible to break up with someone and then be pissed when they move on. Especially if you feel like it's their fault you had to break up.
