I go through Spotify pop playlists and I remember why I stan this girl chorly so much. I can't stand that trap edm tropical infused mess,
She's so ahead of them all.
What's an example of "tropical infused" that's popular? When I hear tropical I think of "One Night"

It takes a narrow view, focusing on American politics, to conclude that the Democratic Party is vastly different from the Republican Party. Looking at the broader possibilities throughout the world and throughout the centuries, both the Democrats and Republicans tend to lean toward the right and toward authoritarianism. The Democrats are slightly less so, and so I tend to vote for them more. But until the Democratic Party puts forth more truly progressive candidates, I fear it will make little difference when the Democrats win, and even help the Republicans to win in close elections.
Democrats mishandled the Kavanaugh proceedings by witholding information until it was too late to do anything sensible with it. They were banking on scare tactics, and they lost. Disgusting.

Violins is not working (corrupted?), even when taking out the extraneous mp4 tag -- is there a way to fix the file without losing quality?

XCX3 tracklists MUST begin with Come to My Party & end with After the Afterparty. There is no other way. It’s proven science.
But AFTER After the Afterparty, she can't get him out of her head! And the last minute of Can You Hear Me is PURE CATHARSIS. You see, what we know about science is constantly evolving

what's true romance intro
probably the nuclear seasons intro on the album version
yep
What about Fearless, Paris, Time Off, Duke etc?
I really should make room for Duke somewhere. Problem is, it sounds like it would fit in with 2010 songs. Is it really from 2012?

Part 2: Vroom Vroom to present
The plan is to keep adding monthly releases to my Pop 2 playlist... unless we get enough tracks from Charli this summer to make an XCX Singles playlist

No human being ever deserves to die. This is not moot.
Not moot, but maybe your point would come across better if you didn't call people "crap human beings" in the same breath.

True, the Poppy project's reputation has been tainted by the lawsuit. I personally tend to believe Brittany's allegations against Corey. BUT. That is not the same as believing that every item alleged in a lawsuit is the truth. Sometimes lawyers allege points that are speculative at the beginning, to see how far they can get. I suspect they will have a very hard time proving that Moriah knew anything beyond what Corey told her. (And I can't picturing Corey admitting during production, "Hey, I'm a talentless wretch, but let's use this content Brittany totally created without me" ...I mean, come on.) Moriah is "problematic" largely by association at this point. You all know that "guilt by association" is a fallacy, right?
If Grimes were to stand by Moriah through this PR nightmare rather than scrambling to keep up appearances, that in my opinion would show integrity and a positive example of female solidarity. It has nothing to do with the Mars Argo case and is not a slam against Brittany in any way. (Of course, there may be no personal involvement and this collaboration with Poppy may be purely professional. My points still stand.)

it bugs me how little time charli invests into actually reading up on these artists she supports.... like how you gonna work with sophie and kim petras and then tweet about how much you love cardi b, who has a track record of being transphobic? she loves camila despite all her racist homophobic selfish victim complex antics, receipts of which are really not all that difficult to find... i get in popstar politics you want to make as many friends as you can but it feels... i don't know insensitive? your entire fanbase is lgbtq so why are you promoting people that have no respect for lgbtq people... like i really don't care all that much but it definitely makes me think a bit less of her
which is disappointing because she does a great job of not being problematic herself. and it's not like she has to even do the work, people consistently comment letting her know if an artist she supports is shitty but she never really seems to care... if it was like just artists being shady and petty that's one thing but like it just surprises me i guess that she's just kind of blissfully unaware of any bigotry, even after fans point it out
Maybe trans- and lgbtq-sensitivity isn't about hating the right people?

Ok so can someone recommend me Charli songs to listen to?
I only really listen to Nuclear Seasons (song), Black Roses and So Far Away, but wanna hear some more good unique songs without having to go through them all
I'm not a fan of just meaningless bops so anyone know of songs she may have that are a bit more than that? Maybe that for a bit more into the alternative genre than pop?
I'd really appreciate it

What do you mean? Blondie recorded it, Charli sold it to them. I guess there might be another version of it, but here's the released one. lol.

Like already said, seems like it's just gibberish. I'm kinda hoping when I see SOPHIE next month she'll play a more finished version, even though I doubt it'll happen.
I thought there was another version. Especially cause the leaked one sounded so demo-y
Thank you though!
I thought Charli covered "Tonight,"
a track by a band called Monarchy. I thought I read somewhere (probably Genius) that Andrew Armstrong wrote it about his daughter in the hospital after she was born premature (and that his daughter was okay). Of course, I can't find all that now :/Just this on Genius:https://genius.com/Charli-xcx-tonight-lyrics
Never mind, I mixed it up with the backstory for "Wires" by Athlete
Charli apparently wrote "Tonight" with Andrew Armstrong of Monarchy in 2011.
