Favourite songs straight away were The Night Josh Tillman Came To Our Apt., The Ideal Husband, Bored In The USA and Holy S**t.
Imma need to explore the J Tillman stuff too I'm in love
His J Tillman stuff is really dark and brooding and different but also good in a very different way

IT is so goood
my download is weird too several songs cut off at the end for some reason
yes same problem

I found the album surprisingly accessible i thought id have to force myself to like it
Fear Fun is really good too. What are your favorites? I love Holy Shit and When You're Smiling Astride me, and pretty much all of the songs.
I love his songwriting because there's that good amount of irony and humor, but at the same time there's so much truth and stuff that's pretty autobiological. Production in the music is also so excellent, the laugh track in Bored in the USA is one of my favorite things ever.

Love the new art direction-- it's by Mat Maitland, by the way. Same designer as Ultraviolence and The Family Jewels.

Charli XCX

"XCX with the R I T.. A!" is the most redundant thing I've ever heard
Good song though too bad Rita's dry ass voice is on it

This guy named iTunes does.
Why are you labelling iTunes? What if iTunes doesn't wanna be a guy?
For some reason I missed the entire iTunes pre-order screencap someone posted whoops

Entire album is out!
My album files are glitching from my download, if you have a good complete version PM it this wayyyy
Don't worry I'll buy it when it comes out
-
I'm going to wait for the album and not listen to the random tracks she's putting out... I don't get it either.
-
Love the album-- bummed that it leaked so early, but I'm sure we're all still going to support her. Buying it when it comes out for sure! Early favorites are "Happy" "I'm A Ruin" "Blue" "Solitaire" and "Savages"
But until then, I still dislike the album cover so I created something for myself to use, and I ended up making a .gif for it, so here it is for your viewing pleasure. Also included the album art/still version. Reblog it on Tumblr if you want! / still image/album cover here

*Diamond white for ha diamonds
Rolled my eyes at diamond white, I bet it's just white.
Make it sparkly and we'll talk!!!

Woah-- that's a scary ass deluxe album. It's basically ALL her EPs so I guess that's good, even though I like shorter albums a lot more.

Thank god for the 1-LP vinyl, I wasn't here for the boxset, even though white is kinda ??? color choice. I'll probably wait and go to a record store instead of ordering online, I hate waiting for packages

the deluxe edition is (supposedly) only getting two extra tracks
1. Everything We Touch
2. Glitter
3. Games for Girls
4. Julian
5. Angels (Above Me)
6. Peppermint
7. Beloved
8. Hard for a Man
9. Wilder Than The Wind
10. Nothing But a Heartbeat
11. Skylights
12. Love Is The Loneliest Place (Bonus Track)
13. Electrify (Bonus Track)
honestly, i think i'm gonna put GfG as a standalone single and swap it on the album for BITD. it doesn't sonically fit at all with the other tracks & drastically pales in comparison in terms of lyricism. all the other tracks deserve a place on the tracklist as well (Maybe You, Feels Like We Only Go Backwards, Instant Crush, Fool of Me, FUCKING ECLIPSE)
I think I'm just going to put everything together in a big album

The video for Animal Fear is SPOT ON. Loved it.
Her new song "Open Wide" is good too
Can't wait for the album

Tried to get tickets for Bowery Ballroom but was like 15 seconds late and then it sold out in 1 minute

Milk & Bone
Milk & Bone is a Montreal electronic pop duo, consisting of Laurence Lafond-Beaulne and Camille Poliquin. They've got three excellent tracks out right now, their first on "Coconut Water" and second "New York" are both pretty good but my favorite track is their newest one "Pressure". Their debut album "Little Mourning" is out March 17th.

Jumping on this before someone else does, but here's hoping that it doesn't flop like my JMSN thread. All 3 of their tracks are so great and I can't wait for the album. Very exciting. Similar to Say Lou Lou with the two-girls-doing-electro-pop but I think they're much more distinct in their style.
