Hon... So glad you're that optimistic, but let everybody express their opinions. Especially because this album is 'dedicated for the fans', so if some fans don't like it, it seems logical to talk about it. And don't say that, if they don't like the era, they are fake bishes. They're just objective and smart with their thoughts. An artist work isn't made just to be adored and congratulated, it's also made to be questioned and challenged. Lana's new album is something we're all waiting here, it's normal that some of us are disapointed, and imagine a thread where everybody is satisfied and agreed, so wierd. Be more tolerent. + Musically, nothing is retro in this LfL era.

I'm really not sure of what i think about this snippet, but this era is damn confusing. The Lana part sounds so strange (Exactly like MTWBTo sounded so wierd on the HM teaser), so it can be a good thing, and I LOVED the previous Asap collab. Is there 3 rappers in the song ?

Well, the fact is that all Smiths public isn't made of teenage girls (they are just a part of the public, like for all the bands). And please, "edgy white teenage girl" can be the most relevant words to descibe Lana's public this days (so I suppose a Smiths cover on LfL can be ok in your logic).

In Europe, the Smiths are still popular. (Is Lana's music for 16s ? Hope not) I really easily link their music to Lana's since a long time. Cringy ?! Morrissey can be cringy in its strange dance moves, but aren't we supposed to talk about music ? And Smiths Music is absolutely not cringy. And I really do agree with Asleep, I never listen to this song because it's WAY to sad.

I love Lana, but c'mon, her two forces are Studio music & Character "design". She don't smokes cigarettes, flowers in the hair, sat on a Cadillac next to an old married rich man that is dying of a cancer during listening to Elvis in her eveydays life w/ a retro filter when you look at them -> So she plays a character. To me, Lana Del Rey is a sort of alive fantasy played by Mrs Grant. And I love this.
