Why is everybody obsessed with this Fantano ? And why he's opinion hurts you so much ? It's obvious that some people will not like the whole record, it's not a problem.

There's some productions that are not very deep, like "When The World Was At War, We Kept Dancing", I love the melody and the ambiance, but the global instrumental is weak. And White Mustang is so superficial. I like the song, but that kind on song was cohesive in BTD or Paradise, but I got the feeling that it's just a fanservice song in LfL, without any real meaning in it. I love Change very deeply, the melody, the production, but sometimes the lyrics are just too naive and too obvious (Change is a powerful thing)... In "Cherry", the rude words are too much, too "teenager". So, my opinion about the album is that it's better than everything we can hear in pop-radio stations, but it's not perfect for me. I do really prefer "mature" (I hate that word) and dreamy music like Honeymoon, but anyway, I'm happy with LfL and all I like in it.

I can feel it for In My Feelings too, I think it's the track that deserves to be cut out of the album. Way too pop.

Since the album came out, I just can't appreciate Heroin, I hear it as a very basic Lana song. And I'm still troubled how similar it sounds w/ White Mustang. And I do prefer WM. I'll let it grow in me. + I love the album, but there's too much FM pop things in it. I really hope Lana will make something West Coast, slow and mature again. (I really don't like the listening party outfit, It don't fits with the LDR concept to me) But I know that LDR is a fantasy-persona so it's very legitimate that she brings herself everywhere she wants. So, I'm kidda mixed-feeling today.

My first listen is over, I loved the album. All my fears are gone. I think it's a very stange album, very surprising. The production is really creative and playful. Way more physical than the previous ones, and I really like it. I feared a stepback, but it's just something different, a new record. I will not write a full review here, but I want to point that White Mustang & Heroin sounded very similar to me, but it's not a problem. And Cherry is very disturbing, but so great + Yes, I really agree with the people that says the second part of the album is very "Lizzy Grant", I love the mix with between the Lana Del Rey we know today and the old Lizzy stuff, it brings a very EastCoastPop vibe. 1st LISTEN TOP 3 : BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE BEAUTIFUL PROBLEMS - CHANGE - GROUPIE LOVE Love : ★★★☆☆ Lust for life : ★★☆☆☆ 13 Beaches : ★★★★☆ A very universal song Cherry : ★★★★☆ Even the production surprised me a lot White Mustang : ★★★★☆ Fits on the record so greatly Summer Bummer : ★★★★★ High By The Beach on the East Coast Groupie Love : ★★★★★ The only "summery" song to me (and also the only dreamy one) In My Feelings : ★★★★☆ Such a strange song, so pop. For the people who saw the digital booklet, is there pictures in it ? (I don't care if it's not Lana on it) I'll try to not see the pictures till friday. And do we know if it's Mat Maitland / Big Active that made the design ? (love his work) I hope it's a standard jewel case, I loved the Honeymoon one.

It makes me think of how the press hated so hard on UV in France. UV was really rejected even by the 'high-level' musical press.

You obviously don't know her universe, The Lana Del Rey concept as we know it today could not exists without hip-hop. And hip-hop is made by rappers. And the "dirty" thing is so unnecessary and doubtful.
