Are you all really just seeing that picture? I saw it on tumblr like a week ago haha. But she looks gorgeous in it. The green is kind of weird but cool. She looks like she has a lot of moles though? I never noticed them in any other pictures of her.. Edit: wait she only released TR 3 months ago? when you say it that way this year does seem super early to get a lead single. Like, it seems like she should be promoting TR. but we had almost all of TR before it even came out and she already released 4 or 5 singles before it even dropped, with music videos and all... So it kind of feels like the TR era is almost over already. Like she's not releasing new singles or filming videos anymore. She's kind of already used all the useable singles... But I wish we got a video for Stay Away.

So today I was only into Tennis Court by her. I listened to Royals the song and was not that impressed, and I listened to Love Club the song once in passing and it must not have been THAT good to me because I haven't listened to it since. but my friend recommended Million Dollar Bills to me and I listened to it this morning and now I've been listening to it on repeat for 20 minutes. I'm just obsessed with the instrumental. It's sooo good and almost kind of clubby, but not just a generic electronic sound.

Actually yeah, Bad Romance is a good one for red, but not Poker Face imo... I think of like blue and diamonds when i think of poker face... But that just goes back to how I don't have any kind of synesthesia and honestly music isn't typically in colors for me, thus it's "color" is often highly effected by album art and music videos. When i think of Poker Face I think of the crystal sunglasses she's wearing on the cover of the Fame, and when I think of Bad Romance I think of the red lace thing.

I actually think her most "red" song of anything I've heard by her is "I don't know your name". That's why I was afraid it was new and meant for her next album. It just is very passionate and sexy and the beat reminds me of Say It Right by Nelly Furtado I really see red when I hear it. Grins isn't even really red, I just think out of all the songs on true romance it fits "red" the most. The only one that I really think is totally "red" is I don't know your name.

well now she's saying red and also pink but she also said something about being in a club with blue lights so it's all very confusing... Why blue lights if the music is red... And to me, red and pink are very different... Pink is Primadonna by Marina and the Diamonds. Red is something passionate and deep and real, not cheeky and girly like pink. Valentine by Charli XCX is a bit pink because it's so naive and bright and girly but also kinda sad.... Idk, red is very different than pink to me though. I think the most "red" song on True Romance is Grins as someone else said, but the fact that it mentions "blushing so red" and rhymes with "red" quite a few times doesn't help... I don't have synesthesia so tbh I don't often see music in colors... I think lyrics play a big part, and then if the song is light or dark and serious. But red could be so many things. It's the color of passion, the color of blood and thus death, but also life, and it can be lively and bright... idk. sorry about this mumbo-jumbo speculation about what "red" music is.

it is not even going to feel real when/if we finally get an album... I feel like I won't even appreciate it because I waited so long, I'll be ready for the next one almost immediately lol... Unless there really are a lot of really new and REALLY good tracks on this album.. She better not try a 10 track album... At least 12 please.

I thought I read somewhere that the EP is going to be called I Will (leaving the album with yet ANOTHER new title if this is true... And it probably will have a new title regardless if she's going to release it's title track on an EP months before the album).

oh my god she sounds terrible! she's amazing live now though thank god! I didn't know Interior was being performed that long ago! I didn't even know it was that old! How did no one know this? Wouldn't someone have some forward by now and confirmed that they heard Interior live a long time ago? Or did you all know it's been performed before and I just wasn't paying attention... Is this from her warehouse party/"rave" days? (I mean, it looks like it...)

fyi, that's not Charli the interludes in the mixtapes are all sound bytes from movies. That part is a scene from The Craft. Fairuza Balk is the one screaming "Oh he's sorry!" I can't think of my FAVORITE right now, but one of them is definitely the bridge of How Can I (and the bridge of Interior in a similar vein) I love the talk-rapped whispery creepy bridges <3

I thought she sounded great live when I saw her... She just didn't have much of a stage presence, she just kind of stood there and sang and looked sad. But that's her style I guess. She's not much of a performer like Charli XCX or Marina, she doesn't have the same energy when she sings.

I can't at everyone being obsessed with Lonely Jaguar... We basically have all of it, and it's just a LQ cover of a creepy nursery rhyme... I'd much rather have Pop Princess or Midnight. People freaking out about Mess and Jungle doesn't make sense to me either... We already have a whole remix of Jungle that sounds good in good quality, and a decent live recording of Mess... How different do you think the studio version could be... I'd rather have something I've never heard.

Honestly I just want midnight to leak now so it's out of the way and there's nothing else to worry about or want to hear, then I hope all the new tracks she works on stay completely under wraps and then she can surprise is with a new album whenever she gets it finished.

Same, I don't want to deal with You and What I like separately as EPs when I have both of the original tracks on the album and can have the remixes together in a Charli XCX remixes album. Also in that interview she says TR is purple! I was right! (although I may have heard her say that before, but idk... before it seemed like she said the album was going to be black, pink, and gold or something) edit: ok actually I definitely recall her mentioning purple though...
