Illusions Of grew on me a bit... The begining still sounds annoying every time. But the part where Charli is like "fall in love" is nice.

I've got to say, the little mixes are interesting though (just sometimes I wish they were optional haha, maybe separate tracks?) Ever since the album minimix, I can't listen to "You're the One" without harmonizing the "let me come out, I will scream and shout" part from Grins at the end. And whenever I sing Nuclear Seasons I randomly go "I want to Lock you Up inside my heart!!" at parts of the last chorus. (after she says "we survived nuclear seasons" over the part thats like "good times dark lies" or whatever she says.. sorry i dont really know :/) I think it's cool how well the album fits together. Mashups of some of the tracks would be really cool.

hmmm Idk how I feel about the intro and outro. I think they are pretty but it is kind of annoying because they aren't part of the song really, and sometimes I just want to listen to Nuclear Seasons, not all the stuff before it. And my friend played Take My Hand for me at a bbq recently but then he had to go and skip it at the end because the outro was killing the mood and it was a playlist of party songs lol. As for Interior, I like it, but it's not the best... If it were on the album as is I think it would be one of the weakest tracks. I really like the bridge, the chorus is meh though, just because she keeps repeating and she doesn't finish her senetcnce which bothers me. "When you fell in love the interior design of my heart-" WHAT? I feel like she needs to say what the interior design of her heart did but she doesn't and it bothers me. It just doesn't make sense as a lyric...

I used to be a really big fan of them but I never really got into mosquito for some reason... (I hate the album art btw if it matters at all. I think it looks weird and gross...) but I do really love Always, and I cried this morning watching the music video for Despair. It's really pretty. (I had a lot on my mind though, it wasn't just the video lol). They've always been a tad bit hit or miss with me. I could never get into all their songs, but the ones I could get into I loved. I probably got really into about half of each of their first 3 albums, perhaps more of It's Blitz. Although my favorite song by them is still Maps <3 I think I'm going to try giving mosquito another listen. I wasn't paying too much attention the first time tbh, I just didn't care that much because if I recall correctly it came out right when True Romance came out and at that point I was obsessed with Charli XCX.

That's kind of a big part of the music though... I love Charli and True Romance is 100% her vision, but it wouldn't exist without Ariel Rechtshaid. Her and these producers work together, and it's not as if the instrumental requires less talent than her part. Especially when this song is very instrumental driven and doesn't really sound like it has much focus on Charli's singing. It's like when DJs like David Geutta release more instrumental driven tracks under their own names.

Sounds way more like shade to me... "Ariel Rechtshaid did awesome work on that record" ok, he did, but granted it sounds like she's trying to take all the credit from Charli without flat out saying she doesn't really care for her at all. edit: ok I am maybe reading too much into it... It just sounds like she's not really a fan but can appreciate it a bit despite it not being her favorite style of music.

What is this about "lick my twat"!? She did a song with Steve Aoki called Lick my Twat!? ARE YOU SERIOUS!? (I'm a little drunk sorry...)

While it was kind of a bummer that we heard most of the album already, I honestly would not have an qualms with her releasing the second album the same way. At least all the spread out releases would keep me constantly satisfied. There's a certain satisfaction to hearing a fresh record for the first time after a long wait, but it's a lot easier to hear new songs more frequently, and we certainly had a lot of new things to keep us happy on the long wait to True Romance.

I didn't meet her at her Marina show I was sad because everyone made it look so easy the first couple tour dates, but at mine I wasn't aware of Charli ever coming out... When I was waiting to meet Marina I heard some people saw her somewhere but I wasn't going to give up my spot at the front of the barricades to look for Charli and maybe not even find her. Hopefully I meet her in September in Boston though!!! I don't think it should be too hard, I'm sure she'll come out like 10 or 15 minutes after every show to meet the fans that stick around. That's what Sky did. AND OMG GUYS CHARLI POSTED PICTURES ON HER INSTAGRAM OF A RECORDING STUDIO AND SAID "WEIRD SHIT HAPPENS WHEN YOU RECORD IN SWEDEN". I can't believe she's already recording, possiobly for her second album!!! Or maybe even a random mixtape or single!!!!

I would be ok with a whole album of Lost in My Bedroom and Everything is Embarassings with 2 or 3 Sad Dreams. Sad Dream and Ghost are good, but half of the album being really stripped down acoustics would be a bit of a bummer I think. I really like her more beat driven songs.

Um if she calls the album "I Will" and doesn't put "I Will" on it I may never forgive her, because its her best of the songs she's played live... Better than You're Not the One, better than It Ain't Your Right, better than I Can't Say No...

I guess it all depends on what your definiton of a "stan" is... I like having a "trinity" so I put Sky with Marina and Charli, but truthfully I am just not AS into her as I am into them. I honestly blame the fact that we still don't have an album for me to get into though. It's hard to "stan" for someone without an album.. (Charli being an exception because of all her mixtapes and songs she released all the time that ended up being on the album)

Yea even though she posted that picture of the "finished" album, if it has to be pushed back again, I don't believe it's ACTUALLY finished... She's probably changing it again/adding to it, if not completely shelving it. I don't really like Gaga but I started on ATRL and I remember all the times she said ARTPOP was basically done and they are still waiting for it and it's still being pushed back more and more all the time. edit: She just posted this on facebook... But I'm not a "bandwagoner".... Sky is one of my favorite artists.. I just don't take the word "stan" seriously so when I say I might have to stop "stanning" for her I mean it as a joke because idk if I really stan for her now. I mean, she's one of my favorite artists and I can't suddenly choose to like her or her music that much less because her album comes out later than I was expecting.. It's just a joke because of how frustrating it is. I would say she's my 3rd favorite artist right now though.

But not Charli having her album out before Sky (and LONG before Sky at that) even when her album was pushed back for months as well, and Sky has had the hype/been on the scene way longer. She honestly should be on her 2nd or 3rd album, it's just so ridiculous... Now Charli is blowing up and Sky is being forgotten because she STILL hasn't released an album. It's just such a shame because she had so much hype and it feels like everyone else is doing laps around her now and it'll be hard for her to catch up... Charli and Grimes were supposed to be her peers but they are both getting their success already while she's still playing games with her debut release date... (btw I don't mean specifically "her". I'm aware it's not her fault, I just mean in general it sucks what's going on with her album, whoever or whatever is responsible for it. This really isn't good for her)

I read that article recently on tumblr, and I was really surprised too! She says "him", so we know the other foot/just desserts was written for a male rapper... That's really weird to me and I want to know who... Was it supposed to be like, her signing the chorus and then him rapping the verses that Charli rapped on the version we now have? Also Marina once said something about how many songs she had written (or maybe even recorded) for Electra Heart, and when people tried to figure out how many we still don't know anything about, "The Other Foot"/Just Desserts was counted as one that we have... But if it wasn't written for Electra Heart than maybe there's another song we don't know of...

But who's @jeff1317? And if this is true.... Like if this album isn't out by September I might stop stanning for a bit. I can't deal with this anymore. I don't think it's Sky's fault though guys... She really wants us to have the album, but clearly something fishy is going on behind the scenes...

My copy of Under the Radar with her photoshoot came in the mail today!!!! I've been expecting it for a week so every day I go outside right when I hear the mailman to make sure he doesn't fold it up and crease it to shove it in the mail slot, but of course today is the one day I was at work when he came so I couldn't check and today is the day he comes and folds it and crams it in... So it's a bit bent which annoys me because I wanted it in totally mint condition so I can have her sign pictures from it and put them on my wall with like absolutely no creases, but I'm over-reacting a bit lol. I absolutely love her photos in this magazine though, especially the cover. And the interview/story about her looks super in depth and I'm excited to read it!

Wtf is all this talk on twitter about VIP tickets!!!!!???? Meet and greet!? WHAT!? At all of her previous shows hasn't she always met the fans that stay after? First her going to so many random cities across the US where she isn't even relevant, now meet & greet passes... Who does she think she is? Marina is more relevant here and she's never even went to half these cities or done meet and greets... If there really IS a meet and greet for all the shows my ticket better damn well be one because I got it as soon as the went on presale... All the presale tickets should be the meet and greet ones... This kind of thing is making me nervous she doesn't plan on meeting fans after the show anymore :/

These remixes are neat though because they show that Charli is capable of producing her own music though, and doesn't just sing and have a producer do all the work. That is something you can't say about most pop stars out there today.

oh btw sorry I asked for the source when it was already posted... For some reason on mobile it never shows me the next page... I clicked on the topic and i guess it took me to the second to last page, so I didn't see the most recent posts. But I still think it's related to Velvet Dreaming. Just so I don't get my hopes up.
