Hanging Around is meh like Die Tonight. If she wanted a Rivers Cuomo collab I would've rather had her cover Beverly Hills with him producing it
-
I think we'll get an iTunes First Play tomorrow or Tuesday. Maybe that's why some of the tracks appeared on iTunes Radio

http://flavorwire.com/492292/charli-xcxs-sucker-is-2014s-best-pop-kiss-off/ - “Need Ur Luv” finds Aitchison in near chipmunk register, at times straining to get there but mostly just pouting her way through the part of a ’60s girlgroup leader (my money’s on The Shangri-Las). - “Hanging Around,” a duet with Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo, takes a well-treaded arena rock drum beat and throws ~*kO0kY*~ synth bleeps and Cuomo’s vocal harmonization in the mix, making it as off-kilter as Charli’s choice of Sucker collaborators, who walk the line between commercial success and critical acclaim. - “Doing It” would have fit in on Haim’s Days Are Gone, while the feel-good “Die Tonight” could be a hit for Kesha were its production less experimental. But these songs don’t feel like dress-up on Charli, like the worst of True Romance did (ahem, her Auto-Tuned duet with Brooke Candy, “Cloud Aura”)

As one of the few who didn't listen to the live versions, I really like Caught in the Middle and Famous. Die Tonight bored me a little

iTunes Radio is a lower bitrate than the buyable copy of the album will be so ill wait for that

I read the full interview in Nylon today at the bookstore and there was something really interesting in it. The writer says that at the time of the interview (Oct 24 bc of the show at the Mayan), Charli is the featured vocalist on Beg For It. Later that day when Beg For It was released, it had Mo on it instead. We haven't heard Charli mention that at all and I wonder what the extremely last min change in featured vocalists was about

no problem. I reread my post and the tone could've been taken the wrong way

her cover of Regina Spektor's "Fidelity" and You Have to Let Me Go also your unreleased collection is a tad extraneous because Not Made For This World's "demo" version is the live version (and you have them copied twice between unreleased and the album) and Good Guys only exists in one version

basically the best album cover/booklet

I actually own the album...it was so unsuccessful commercially (Hands did 20K in week 1 compared to Nocturnes 2500. Hands also sold 100,000 total in the UK) though compared to Hands that most people don't know who she is anymore. I'll accept it was rude though
-
I didn't say Nocturnes was bad, I said it flopped commercially. You're the one that judges what's in or out based on how out of the mainstream it is so keep my name out of your posts. Literally everything you dismiss is what you used to like back when you were one of few people who knew about it. You're the literal definition of a hipster.

as if anyone cares who Little Boots is anymore after Nocturnes flopped her way out of existence

She called 14 that and I didn't think it was so I don't totally trust it when she describes things

http://time.com/3616754/charli-xcx-sucker/ If True Romance was the sugar rush of falling in love, Sucker is a middle finger covered in Sour Patch dust — a reinvention of her sound and a reaffirmation of all the counter-intuitive career moves she’s made. And if her predictions are right, it will kick off a new era in the music industry. “I can see pop music changing into something I can really run,” she says. “There’s only a few more years left of the whole plastic, overproduced, bad-lyric throwaway pop. It’s dying out because audiences are clever. Artists are running their own careers now, and that means it has to come from them. It has to come from their brain.” Charli says her third album will be heavily inspired by Japanese pop music and will sound like both “another planet up in the clouds” and “intensely weird and childlike.”

We don't have confirmation of it being live vs a demo except for it being in studio quality so I really don't know
-
the vocal take is completely different...?
-
omg noooooo Set Me Free is about the Twilight movies
-
that snippet of Sucker gave me Kitten "Japanese Eyes" teas
-
that article was great I'm v surprised that came from NME
-
I mean the person who sent it to me told me it couldn't be ripped so I went to the people I know could do it? It's not even a big deal because it was around the time of Truth Serum and then just disappeared
