Yeah I remember and I was praying she’d play it at some point last summer, if only to put to rest if its a brand new song or a mashup of National Anthem and Bittersweet Symphony like some thought it was. One of the biggest mysteries of this fandom. And didn’t she mention it at one of her shows, when it was cut short, as she was rearranging the setlist with her band that she wanted to do it? But I do remember she named the track on stage.

This and the fact that the crowd won’t be able to sing more than a few lines… an unknown song can be good idea at a venue but more than two, it kills the vibe a bit IMO. Henry could be a nice addition to the setlist and have a nice moment if the crowd songs along with her and uses their flashlight on their phone… if the damn song can be released at least two weeks before fvcking Stagecoach so people can learn the damn words to it

I’m at the point where I have zero expectations for her rollouts. I quench my thirst with other artists. With Lana, we KNOW for fact it’s gonna be messy. OB was the exception I fear

Unlike Ocean Blvd, I think the preorder will be with the second single. I know there is not a unique pattern when it comes to preorder and singles, but it’s often the case with many artists. Now as to when this is gonna be, beats me. Could we be lucky enough that the second single will be out around Stagecoach? Even though Henry will be still “newly released”?

You’re still believing in May 21 as the release date? Maybe it won’t be released long after that (my bets are on July), but no way we’re getting that album on that day. No way. Impossible. again, thank goodness for Stagecoach being set in stone to “hurry up” this era’s beginning. Otherwise, I don’t know how long that limbo of waiting could have lasted.

We deserve an award, people, for keeping this thread alive by posting everyday since November, although absolutely nothing new happened, except for her two posts

Another thought : no matter if we like Henry or not upon release, we should be celebrating the fact that probably for the first time in a decade, the first snippet teased is going to be the lead or first single of the album. She hasn’t done that since what? UV?

I still can’t believe her first caption to her post was “Soon”, I mean… 😭 This word should be forbidden for her.

Yeah she should have dropped it no more than two days after the post. Although if it comes with a preorder, it could take more time, so I’d be happy with that. But I don’t think the preorder is coming yet. anyways, weird strategy artists have these days: a single should be released quickly after announcement and not “pre-saved” 🙄

Since last year, I don’t know why but artists started “edging” fans a lot with single releases. Like it used to be: “song out in two days”, now it’s “snippet one day, snippet two days later and pre-save the single which will be out in 10 days”

My bet is Henry dropping somewhere next week.

Just a reminder that BoZ doesn’t like the COcC sound…. so no tea no shade towards him, to each its own, but for COcC lovers (), the Right Person Will Stay will probably be well loved. I honestly don’t mind what sound she goes for with this new era: Ocean Blvd was a dream, Blue Skies was the jazzy and spacey Lana track I didn’t know I needed, The Abyss gave us a synth collab I really love and Tough was the summer bop I wanted her to put out as a standalone single. So, my expectations have been met for the most parts (where are you, Zodiac?)
