I’m telling myself it’s coming next year and some songs need to be out before Stagecoach. Other than that, well, May 21st isn’t even a Friday, so we knew right from the start it couldn’t be on that exact date…

I was wondering the same thing. Can an album be mastered but not yet sent to label?

I know we’re all curious about the album and Henry, but we’re still five months from the (supposed) release. Let’s not kid ourselves that we won’t be craving some more two days after a first single

If there is a title track, I wonder how it sounds like. Hope it’s a not a last minute addition consisting of piano with zero production… (even though I love Hope and some other of her piano tracks… I know, I contradict myself)

It’s got to be fake: have you seen the track list? Interviews? SNL performance? But Heart-Shaped Box?

The problem I have with both BB and COcC is that there are many, many songs I absolutely love… and others I don’t care that much about. And it has to do with the minimal production: on her earlier albums, of course there were songs I wasn’t connecting to lyrically, but the production and melodies made me love them. If you go acoustic guitar and piano ballads, if you don’t connect to the lyrics, well there’s nothing else to “fall back on” in a sense. anyways, let’s see what she has in store before bitching all over it

The vibes remind me of COCC a lot… But hey, Ocean Blvd was a near perfect album to me, so I can’t complain if the one after is a bit more simple

Since Rock en Seine, I can’t help but want Roses Bloom For you as an interlude on the album… It would be fitting with the album title, and yet knowing it has 13 tracks, not completely sure I want it as part of those tracks (yes, I know, I contradict myself)

so she paused Lasso altogether to work on something else (the southern gothic genre?) but it will include Henry, which we thought was for Lasso? This is something else
