Agree with you on almost everything you said… except for the possible delay to late summer-September. If it is indeed delayed to end of summer, I don’t think it could be because of massive changes on the album, but it could be that she doesn’t want to promote it in the spring (one could argue she is almost never heavily promoting her albums, and yeah compared to others, it’s true) or her label could want a “better” release date if they think it would go unnoticed if there are too many major album releases around the time she originally wanted it to be. 2025 is not 2024 when it comes to major releases, so I doubt Interscope would want a “more strategic date”, but who knows at this point?

Almost surprise drops anymore, so my hopes of it happening are close to zero. But she could pull a Beyoncé by releasing two country tracks at the same time it would seriously be a nice move: we’d get a good taste of she means by country or southern gothic, Henry would be finally out (as minimal as it might sound) and we’d have another track who could be a “bigger hit” maybe, in terms of Lana.

Pantene is reliable but that being said, the info we got from them, if I recall correctly, they said they hadnt heard the whole thing (they couldn’t confirm a tracklist)… so there’s still hope for a richer / fuller production on some tracks

I really like the melody of the snippet and I haven’t listened to it so much, so it’s bearable. I have no expectation for this album, which I hope helps me appreciate it more. When I dive into a Lana era without preconceived idea, it’s when I usually love it more. That being said, I must admit that I agree with you and Henry is not a song I would associate with spring or summer either

I don’t get why she didn’t want the pic to be posted. I’ll assume it’s not a vanity thing but to protect her private life with her husband… But I don’t think it’s very realistic to assume the fan wouldn’t post the picture. Although, that being said, if I ever met Lana and took with her, if she asked me not to post it, I wouldn’t. I would DM my close friends though asap

I’m having a hard time imagining it was scrapped altogether. Knowing she’s been at it for five years, didn’t push aside the 13 songs… why would the whole thing be scrapped? True, Interscope could have « intervened » and decided that the album might have been « too slow » (although I doubt it more and more: she really lots of liberty with her label); in that case, she could simply rework a couple of songs a bit, not scrap the whole thing. Anyways, we’ll see. My limit is Stagecoach: if nothing happens by then, I’m throwing in the towel for good
