  1. I agree. The lyrics are cute in their naïveté, but it’s the way the production shifts every 10 seconds in its trippy vibes that makes that song such a stunning one. She never was more alternative than in that track.
  2. We'll probably get a «Merry Christmas xx» on the 25... Though I dream of her posting the cover art from NFR with the release date.
  3. On Lana del Rey Info on Twitter: Lana Del Rey is the 9th highest grossing female artist of 2018 worldwide with over $22.5M in total gross. She was listed on Pollstar’s Top 100 Highest Grossing Artists of 2018 list at #81 worldwide and #82 in North America with over $15.5M in total gross in North America.
  4. You’re right, she can’t. All of those suggesting it are the fragile souls still suffering PTSD or some shit because LFL is supposed to be the worst shit in the world. And even for LFL, which we know she changed its sound, she didn’t scrap it altogether: she put aside the acoustic part of the album and added a few songs.
  5. Exactly! That one or a non-NFR track would be perfect: no need to have a big shit release and all.
  6. It’s honestly more interesting than the silent treatment we receive these days.
  7. I just realized I'd even take a fake news regarding NFR just to have something to have us going.
  8. Sorry... I went too fast with my response and didn't see it was you. You're pretty much always sarcastic and I should have figured it out. Then again, some here didn't know where Venice Beach was...
  9. it's not Lana's song. Swan Song is a common English expression, guys.
  10. MAC showcases her Leonard-Cohen songwriting abilities, while VB plays on her alternative vibe. Personally, I prefer VB since my favourite songs from her all have that California vibe, and I feel it more on VB. That being said, MAC is an incredible song as well (like a 9). I think they showcase both poles of NFR: intimist (like HTD and Sylvia) and trippy instruments (like Cinnamon).
  11. Jesus, Lana, release something, announce something!!! We have come to the point where we are feuding over which one of your 2 stellar tracks is better!!!!
  12. I think it was Rolling Stone who said, about MAC but it applies to all of NFR, that it is nostalgi-pop... I think it's pretty acurate. and i don't expect NFr to be super happy either. Anyways, our girl has that melancholy / nostalgy in her pretty much all the time. I think she says that NFR is "happy" becauseworking with Jack was fun and it shows in her energy in those songs, but the lyrics are still very melancholic to me.
  13. Even though she said that, I wouldn’t bet it sounds the same. She always has her own special way of describing things that leave us saying : What was she smoking when she talked about that one? I trust more the description of Yosemite she made when she compared it to the sister track of Architecture.
  14. I don’t expect any. Although I would love for her to post the cover with the release date as the caption. But I don’t expect new music until January. Every time we enter a dry spell, all hell gets loose and things get ugly real fast.
  15. This is how to disappear... We should have seen a prophecy on that one.
  16. I know! If the March 29 release is real, it would mean that the album will be out exactly a year after the first real tease (she posted HIaB on March 29 too). And now we know she only had recorded a few songs when she posted that snippet. Arghhhhh!
  17. The looks she serves at major award events constrat so much with the low-key music videos of this era. Not that I complain, but it's a real clash, though I love both.
