Rumour has it on Insta that she will not only attend (did not see that one coming) but that she will do something with Jared Leto and Alessandro (a nativity scene is mentioned). All this is to be taken with a grain of salt, of course (God I am bored and craving for new stuff to get so excited over so little news)

Like I said before, it depends if the initial vision of the album is still the same as in January (to have an album made of new songs and of unreleased and unleaked ones). If it is still the case, it is possible we might get an album by the end of summer (5-6 new songs aren't that much - we already know the existence of three of them- and our girl has at least 5 or 6 unreleased and unleaked ones lol). But if the vision changed, if she is going with 100% new content, although she is super productive, I doubt we'll see a new album in 2018. And I know she loves to tease, but it would be plain cruelty to tease Happiness is... in March to have it released in 2019

I am not so surprised by this. In the Les InRocks interview she did in May, she said she allowed herself to sing with high notes on this album. I bet it sounds like the notes she hits in Wait for Life.

Interscope seems to be a record company giving a lot of latitude to its artists, especially when they are somewhat successful. And the whole "May-26- drama- finally pushed to July 21" tends to go in that direction: I doubt other record companies would have accepted so many changes in the track listing over the weeks if they had not given Lana full artistic control over the albums. ​We know for sure that they didn't like the UV album at first because they didn't seen any single potential to the songs. But Dan Auerbach kinda weighed in with Lana, and the rest is history.

His Q & A session on Insta is hard to difference when he is serious or when he is sarcastic. I really hope that at some point in her career she releases a collection of her leaked songs, rather than a "best of" album. Because let's face it: her leaks have "defined" her career, had us talking of her, almost more than her official singles. I agree with you. Not sure if hat sound would be good for her, and not sure if it's any true, honestly. I doubt her label will push her into doing something more mainstream since she her fanbase is growing with each record. She is, after all, the 7th most streamed female singer on the planet She took off gently, maybe more slowly than others, but she has earned the respect and love of millions of people over the years. But hey, we are all bored and this will feed the thread a little more lol. - On Instagram, fans speculate that Lana will release LDR6 on her birthday. This is very unlikely since her birthday in on June 21 and albums are released on Fridays. But hey, I thought it would be cool if someday she released something on her birthday. - Honeymouns is back on Insta and has a source «working with Lana» and the sound of LDR6 would be «dark synth pop». Again, I don't fully trust this, and even if it's true, she could change the direction of the album at the last minute.

June 29 (in Czech republic) and August 10 in Budapest are the only two dates for this summer. Her concerts are part of music festivals. Honestly, I didn't think at first they were part of the LA to The Moon Tour. I initially thought they would be shows to promote some songs off LDR6.

I am not an expert on Joan Baez, but I think it could the more political oriented ones, like WTWWAW or Coachella. Joan Baez’ music has a lot of acoustic guitar so it could be BAR or Yosemite (since it is the sister track to BAR and Lana described it as laid-back).

3 seems to be the new standard for Lana... Especially if she releases an album every year and tours. She cannot do everything and before releasing a fourth video for an era, even if the song is the awesome Cherry that would deserve one, she has to prioritize the time to record a vid for the first single of the new era. It's particularly true with Lana, whose videos don't always equal an official single with radio play and all.

I suspect she is recording something for Disney, but I doubt it will be on LDR6.

The leakers aren't stupid : to leak something on the weekend has more chances of having the song a little longer up there. Her managers might not be as quick to react or learn the news. Plus I guess IiTunes and Spotify might not have as many big shots around to do something about a complain.

Just for the record, I just wanted to make a general message, no one is specifically targeted here, but be careful about the homophobic comments. The Lana / Marina collab is highly plausible though not confirmed. Maybe it won't be for LDR6 (it could end up on Marina's new album where Lana will be doing OOOhhhs and Aahhhhs like her previous collabs this year lol). I wasn't so sure about the possible blend of the voices of the 2 when LFL was in pre-release and everyone was going nuts about a possible Marina collab. And yet, I think her ASAP Rocky collabs are really good (and I was most skeptical about those too), and her voice is perfect on every track she lent it (though sometimes almost absent). Even when people thought a duet with Florence Welsh would be nice, I never thought it could be possible until I heard Sky Full of Song. Lana and her could do something in that vein. So a Marina collab, if it is released, will be good. I trust Lana's instincts.

That news is more credible than Jack Antonoff producing Sylvia, which is supposed to be the saddest shit she's ever written and would be a very questionable single lol... Then again, who knows? when it comes to the official terms of LP, EP and single, here are the definitions: - a single has a song and, sometimes, a B-Side to it; - an EP has more songs than a single but less than an album; - an album (or LP) has «many songs»; the magic number tends to be 10 but then again, if there are 8 that are super long, it will be considered an album. paradise is one track short from being an album, if we keep the magic number 10 in mind. It seems though that the artist decides what he / she wants to call it, really. And when it comes to Lana, let's just say that she could have a tendency to change her mind lol, so Paradise can be whatever in her mind lol.
