With the songs coming out in 30-second snippet form, I’m glad I haven’t heard anything yet (honestly, though, Taco Truck has got me so fucking excited and temptation is big to go listen)

The album isn’t out yet And considering that the two singles had zero promo, they are doing pretty good. Blue Banisters might not be considered a « hit », but it got to 400 Million streams pretty fast (3rd fastest album from her to achieve this milestone)

Haven’t listened to leaks… I’ll only speak for myself but A&W, as much as I love it, is very dark lyrically and in its production. When I listen to it a couple of times in a row, I have to take a break (especially with the end of winter seasonal depression ). Venice Bitch was « easier » to listen to for me (I could easily put it on repeat for a whole hour or two). It will be easier to « digest » A&W with the rest of the album.

This! I’m all for sexy songs from her but I can’t imagine an album that would have only those… Wouldnt we be like « we get it, you want to get laid » at the end of that album? Even Summer Renaissance, that has a lot of sexy tracks, isn’t counting solely on those…

S*an also seems to be a big part of the revenge she wants to have… (like « look what you’re missing »)… and the mother references again…

From what I gathered, she evens the score with this album: critics, family trauma, exes. It really is her revenge album.

I really love pre-releases and the mix of everything it brings. Especially when we find out something before everyone else. but I must say that Norman’s made me rethink how I should see them. It was exhausting, living on the edge of my seat for 11 months, when nothing was happening, the album becoming synonymous of my happiness. Maybe this is why I love the months following the release: you can vibe to the universe the album brings, pretty much stress free.
