I really love snippets… when they are close to the album release. She did post a lot in the LFL era, but it was pretty much a month before the album. With TUOB, like you said, thank God there aren’t any except for the 10-second Candy Necklace, which I barely listen to (not that it doesn’t sound good, it’s just too short, which is perfect if I don’t want to replay it over and over)

Preach! maybe there’ll be a preorder for the boxset then, same with what happened when the title track got released.

The only Grammy that matters for her is the lifetime achievement award (or whatever it’s named), in 20 years

Sunday, it’s the Grammy’s… imagine if she releases A&W (which, to me, seems inspired by QFTC in a way) the week after the event, as a form of « protestation » (FU, music industry!!!)

I see everyone posting that she’ll release a single on a Friday… when it’s often not the case (the only song I remember being released on a Friday was LMLYLAW and soundtrack songs). A Wednesday is more plausible IMO - or even any other day of the week.

Chemtrails only had 2 singles before release… Norman had five before release… it’s true that not having heard a lot of this album is nice. That’s why I want only one more single before release

Again, like I said before, what did her management honestly expect? The album is supposedly in people's hands since last summer, and yet the strategy still was to have a proper rollout, with physical copies and digital release on the same day... If they wanted nothing to leak, maybe plans should have been changed... (digital release in December and physical preorders, even if it means no number 1 for sure). Not mad at all at that decision they made (we're still getting a complete, long, new album a year and a half-ish after BB), but their reaction of being disappointed and upset, I mean... The real shocker is that it didnt leak yet too much and that there are still no real snippets that we know of. Not that i want that at all, she deserves all the numbers / coins she can get, especially with this album shaping up to be incredible, but if the album is circulating, it's still very much in small groups, which is very good given the situation.

2023 will be a very good year for her milestones: both UV and NFR are expected to hit the 2 Billion stream mark, BTD should get to 6 Billions... and HM will FINALLY hit 1 B

Plus CDs were shipped the week before the official release, at least in Canada, through Amazon... BB was a mess for her numbers because of the shipping delays or before time.

A bit off topic, but was it just a rumor or has it been really confirmed that Eclipse receives his news on Wednesday? Anyways, maybe next week?

And both UV and BTD had their biggest streaming days ever a couple of days ago... She has a growing fanbase and something just a tad wilder than the title track or «sadcore-ish», could draw very big numbers in the next weeks... (another example: Dealer, which is very UV in spirit IMO, is the biggest «hit» of BB... and had its viral moment on TikTok when it got released)

I feel you so much! I know what my top 3 albums are (NFR; UV = HM)... but after that, it's getting harder and harder with each release to rank them. The first 3 are near perfect and I have a hard time not playing them from start to finish (even after all these years), but the rest of her discography is also incredible. Any artist would kill to have a body of work so cohesive, and even the albums I dont connect as much all have gems and classic Lana songs... And to think that she achieved that in just 10-ish years Anyways, I cant wait for TUOB anymore

It’s more and more common, since last year, to have the lead with preorder for physical copies. one thing seems for sure though: I don’t think she’ll be able to release single.s before she is done with an album anymore: it’s pretty much 5 months before an album is submitted and vinyls being ready and shipped, these days.
