Asking if something happened on Lana Boards is like asking if it rains every day in the Sahara. 

More than half the people on this board were worried the album was gonna b piano ballads and those same people are upset that she ruined HTD. Demo was better.

The live version may be better, but it is still NOT a trap beat on the studio version.

Am I the only one that actually likes more The Next Best American Record more than the BAR demo???

In California she sings about her man hitting her up when he comes back to America and then in TNBAR she says "We were so obsessed with writing the next best american record"

The lyric change makes more sense with the NFR storyline tbh it's better

HTD instrumental only sounded like "trap" if you listened to it one time. It's clearly instrumentation if you give it a chance, which is something that LB avoids like the plague recently.

also I don't think this song represents the sound of the album very well because it's the most pop sounding, it probably would've done the best in terms of streams but I think that lana's lead singles should represent the sound of the album like they always have

id rather jack stick around. he seems to bring out the best in her writing-wise by blending the classic lana-isms in without seeming overly obnoxious and his production is great and eclectic and not totally washed out like rick's.

Imagine having expectations for the booklet after all that we were put through this era? It's probably a booklet full of credits or shots from the FIILY/TG video.

So we are kinda close to getting her BBC live lounge performance which will most likely come with footage of her singing whatever song she did.

They said she performed two covers, one which we already heard at the time, which was Doin' Time. The second one was probably Season of the Witch 

The first time i'm going to hear the studio version of HTD is on August 30th  I kept myself from listening to ONE song 

 

Imo ''Love Song'' is a sweet, delicate song about two lovers experiencing that intimate, (ultimately bittersweet) moment where it feels like time stands still and nothing else matters. The fact that it doesn't ''explode'' is kinda the point and the beauty of it.
