Hope is a rebellion anthem. Not many would have the courage on the age of steaming to sing for five minutes straight about feeling crazy and being depressed but still trying to find a bit of light with nothing but a piano on the background. Lana is not ashamed of her feels, had sweet lyrics, and is thus braver than the Marines.

I don't even like Hope, but oop. Hope is one of the worst from NFR and it's still better than 24, Fucked My Way Up to the Top, etc

I just wanna say . I was never going to buy the album. I was always goin to listen to the leak. You bet your ass the phone recorded leak went directly into my ears, and I loved it. I will also be downloading the HQ leak when it inevitably comes and will snicker under my breath at anyone buying this album. The music should be free

I know that i'm going to be absolutely slaughtered for this, but recently I've been thinking that UV might be my least favorite Lana LP. I've moved so far away from that mindset that made the record resonate with me. I only use CW, UV, SOC, WC, Brooklyn Baby, Flipside, Old Money. LFL may be a mess, but I can honestly say that I listen to more songs from it than I do with UV.

Bartender is such an intriguing track. I love that she's moving towards more structurally innovative music, as opposed to the typical verse I/chorus/verse2/chorus/bridge style.

my favorite part of Happiness is the "AAhhahhh" right before the second chorus (?) verse (?) That is all.

I'm sympathetic to that, it's been a draining era but I personally want my first listen through of the album to be as full and complete as possible. It's not so much the leak itself I take issue with, just the quality.

Yeah, the quality is piss poor, but it will make the high quality sound even better to me just like it did with Honeymoon
