You actually have a good point, I remember a few years ago, I think it was when Honeymoon came out, might’ve even been UV, I remember Lana saying she liked to end her albums in either a cover or in a way that it’s going to show what she’s thinking for the next album. I think NFR left off in a way where it seemed like she knew Hope was a good ending point, but also kind of gave us a taste of the minimalist, but poetic songs we’d get on COCC. Then COCC came out and it left off with a cover done by two friends of hers, whereas BB kind of contrasts because she only had one feature on it, rather than 3 random friends featuring on 2 songs. (I know those 3 aren’t random, but they’re random enough — I didn’t know them before she dropped the album and whatnot. I still don’t know them and those are my least played from COCC). It’d be cool with we get the final couple of tracks she did with TLSP maybe? I think there were talks of a song called Dope a while ago and a few other tracks that were never finished, so maybe they could go back and finish those few. All i needed to know to be happy was there are already a couple tracks written, so we’re getting another album relatively quickly after BB. Maybe not as fast as BB came after COCC, but reality is, she’s still working on new music. That makes me think she’s already gotten Mike Dean on the few she has. He said a few months ago he plans to work with her a lot in the foreseeable future. Did anyone listen to his Momento Mori episode from this week? Him and Abel are both friends with Lana so I’ve been dreaming of something like a combination of these two. Trippy, psychedelic rock, with heavy sax and trumpets and horns. There’s a thing she could do that not many artists are doing today

At this point, I’m just happy to get whatever Lana gives us. Idc, she’s made me happy since BTD, each album is so good in their own ways, it’s hard to really know what I want from her on another album. All i know is I want more music. I guess if I had to pick something, I liked the instrumental at the end of IYLDWM, so I’d like something like that, but I would’ve liked that song more if that instrumental outro went on maybe another minute and we had her adlibbing on it, VB style. So I guess that’s maybe what I want? Is just some free verse adlibbing to instrumentals, with songs being 5-7 minutes long. It wouldn’t have to be every song either, just a couple with that style. Oooo with synths going on on top of it all too

Here's the deal cause i know you wanna talk about it i saw a girl and her dad at target they were buying the album and digging through all of em to find one that wasn't cracked the cd cases were broken on the shelf and i bought 2 copies of the cd i took the album home and they said hello collection i wouldnt know how valuable they'd be $1? $5? 20 cents theyre better with the neil photo it's strange but it's true

off topic but i love your username anyways im glad we're getting new stuff from her here and there. i hope next year brings the same, doubtful, but a gay can hope. like she's literally working her ass off, deciding she finally wants to give us unreleased stuff on vinyl and it's crazy that people don't even see it as that. they probably don't even know and that's okay too, but it doesn't make it less special for those of us who know and care about the music and the artist. idk it's so weird

today was the first time in about two weeks that i didn't listen to the album at all and it feels weird. Idk, I guess I'm trying to keep it from getting old now. I've been using it for shower music which has been nice, especially the middle tracks leading into Dealer. i still love IYLDWM and BBS. fuck

okay so who the fuck tells lana when songs leak? like does she have a fan who is in constant contact with her that tells her, "hey we just got x" lol or does she come here and see the thread get made? or does she watch dbree? does her manager tell her? bc she mentioned that living legend leaked in the livestream and she's like "whyyy did you leak that? hmm? why do you leak my favorite songs?" lol

i even thought this about IYLDWM, too, even though it was written a while ago, it makes sense to be about him. "don't say you're over me when we both know that you lie" and he was on twitter making tweets saying "hey bachelor put me on next season" or whatever. i'm sure she reworked some of it a little bit. it's interesting that she had him add some beats to the interlude and then that was that. like did he hear the album before it dropped?

true. idk, i think there's not 100% burned bridges there, but i think jack likes to control the studio and we know lana does, thats why she never worked with dan auerbach again. it's just interesting how we haven't seen them interact since cocc dropped. zack did the post this time of her in the studio when they made thunder which was interesting to see lana traded j for z lol

the fact we got 2 fucking full ass albums this year..... i wonder what jack thought of blue banisters. he didn't post about it like he does when he works on her albums. made me wonder... i know he liked some posts she made post cocc though so idk

I was so shook to get the vinyls today. Since some people were reporting delays and Target even delayed the vinyls…. Idk, i haven’t opened them but they’re beautiful from what i’ve seen
