  1. I actually thought the LFL trailer should’ve been the album cover for LFL. The pic where she’s standing with all the things above her head and LFL written on the chalkboard behind her. It would’ve had that starry look or night time look to it
  2. Sean actually did do something because the song was the melody of a Beatles song he didn’t have to let her use so I mean lol I hope this time she’s in front of a 60s/70s VW van lol
  3. I’m just hoping there’ll be another one on NFR lol not VB but another track
  4. It’s not like the woman ever sings about yknow abuse or uh I mean Ultraviolence. Look at the meaning of the word itself not to try and equal singing about abuse and being an abuser
  5. Stop it I’ve been wanting this forever. A longer West Coast 2.0 oh god that’d be best
  6. I think this was a track from like... 2009? 2010? I think it was before the criticism. I could be wrong but iirc
  7. Imagine if this album ends with a cover of Edge of Seventeen with a long guitar solo
  8. Watch it be The Good Life. I think that’s a Lana track floating around isn’t it? Or an unreleased track?
  9. She wouldn’t be bitchy at a friend would she? Lol “it’s supposed to be good” sounds so sarcastic

    Bartender

The only release in October to expect is the single stand alone thing she’s doing but other than that not until the album drops
  11. In Venice Bitch when the chorus comes up and she says “on my lips (I do, I do)” she says “it’s me, your little Venice bitch (it’s me, it’s me)” but I keep hearing “(pussy queen, pussy queen)” in the background instead lmao idk wtf

“Bang bang kiss kiss” is a reference to a movie called Kiss Kiss Bang Bang that was about a murder in Los Angelos
  13. I wonder if she’s closing this album out with a cover again or not. Idk what she’s cover
  14. I mean, she really didn’t serve any impressive vocals on those tracks either, nothing different enough to be memorable. Those vocals on VB are really cool lol
  15. I can’t wait for Norman Fucking Rockwell to be released so I can delete the singles and keep the whole record together
  16. Yes and no. If we’re comparing lines of lyrics, sure, but instrumentally and melodically, she has improved. Big time.
  17. That’s one track I really don’t care for because it’s just so... eh. I mean never changes. It’s the same shit the whole way through. These singles have me so excited because I actually am hoping it won’t be this... basic. Anyone could’ve guessed Get Free is a Lana song from the instrumental, but nobody would’ve guessed VB as a Lana song from the instrumental. That’s the difference. GF was chiche and just... there. VB seems like a whole new level of music for her, lyrically and melodically.
  18. It’s just the same kind of track she’s been making for years and it’s just old. Heroin is just slow and it sounds too much like a BTD track. It doesn’t mean it’s awful, it just makes those tracks less important to me becausenits basic and old. To me Heroin was old the first time I heard it. Same thing with Get Free. Like I said I don’t hate those songs they just annoy the shit outta me because they’re just so... eh boring
  19. Can we talk about how cliche Heroin, Love, and Get Free really are? Those tracks aren’t bad at all but they’re so annoying because they feel so out of place. It feels like to me those tracks should be on another BTD disc, not on LFL. Theyre just so basic and it annoys me because I know Lana is so much more complex than what those tracks showcase. Just seemed like something Rick had laying around from old sessions and they wanted to put em out finally after about 5 years. What sucks even more are those are some of the best tracks from that record too...
  20. Which is complete speculation and tbh, bullshit. Born To Die released in January. She’s been one of the leading most streamed women in the US on Spotify, what are you talking about? That would be 200x a day. 20x in a day would be about 5-6 hours lol
  21. You mean, 4 months away, with a random song being released in October? It’s not that bad, people are making it out to be worse than it is
  22. I usually have a playlist on on my drive home every night but tonight I just listened to Venice Bitch on repeat and I loved every second of it

I think Lana knows Diamonds are Marina’s fans and they share fans so the diamond line could’ve been her mentioning the fans. This theory isn’t one I think is true, she’s always singing about diamonds and nice things but since they’ve been hanging out recently, it dawned on me. “Me, myself, I like diamonds, my baby crimson and clover”. It’s just such an interesting lyric I can’t get that part out of my head. I really do think crimson and clover was also a double meaning though, aligning with that song from the 60s but also for wine or red rum punch (BPBP demo) and weed, clovers. I know a lot of people smoke clove cigarettes so this wouldn’t be too wild of a thought either, since she says “Out in the garden, we’re getting high now”
