been listening to taylor lately again. it's weird, i listened to her as a kid and now i'm an adult and listening to her again, it's just something familiar. i don't even think midnights is a masterpiece or anything, but it's a good album just to listen to sometimes. i wanna know what she's doing with the vinyl variants from this era. she did like 6 different ones? 5? idk i can't keep up. i wanted to order them all but forgot by the time they released and were gone. like.... they're coming back right? i know they were limited but like.... bring it back
  13. i am not a beyonce stan by any means, i don't like her voice like a lot of people do, i just think a lot of her vocals are either overlayered or overfiltered, but i will admit she has a few bops. the overlayering happens on this album sometimes, it just sounds overdone to me. (also, i didn't listen to the whole album, it's a long one.) with that said, however, i very much like her version of jolene. she made it her own but kept the soul of that song while making it modern and refreshed and new. and dolly herself obviously likes this version. i also like the next song after jolene, daughter. she's doing a weird vibrato on this album that maybe i've never noticed before in her voice - i can't tell if she's doing it on purpose or if it's just her voice and a detail i'd never heard until she did this album. also, the fact she fucking said "cunty" on spaghetti is SENDING ME. i need to listen to this album in full, i can tell it's special
  14. not yall wanting a revival of a 7 year old song ya'llve hated for all of those 7 years ~~ very acidic imo
  15. thanks! i just checked my email and had that in there too. i'll be ordering lol also the psychedelic look is definitely a nod to "drop acid" in taco truck lol i love it
  16. is it available for order now or april 12? i'm confused
  17. @111 it's your time to shine and leak something during this event
  18. she sounds like she has a tampon stuck up one of her nostrils and it makes her sound like spongebob
  19. do you think i'd really lose it on ya, if you did nothin wrong, henry come on
  20. i don't need covers unless there's 0% chance we get a cover album later, which should include Stand By Your Man because Lana's version is so fucking good and sounds like a classic Lana track when she sings it live
  21. country can be acoustic or have low production. i hope it's mostly sultry, classic county like patsy or tammy. i don't want a big, overproduced country pop sounding yeehaw banjo tambourine album. those always sound cheesy and i trust lana won't be doing that here. if anything, production should share similar styles with her cover of take me home country roads and probably the released version of say yes to heaven. there's a reason that song released as a single right after ocean blvd dropped. it might not be on an album, but i think it's meant to bridge ocean blvd to lasso. ~~~ on another note, i hope the title ends up being longer than just "lasso" for fun. imagine the serve that would be if it's called "twirling a lasso on the back of a stallion" or "lasso on my hip" or "got me in your lasso" or something lol also, i'm calling that. lyrics to the title track will say "caught me in your lasso" or got.
  22. i just need a lead single. henry come on
