i know trump said it but i won't believe it until he buys greenland or canada or whatever he also talks about buying and yet drops the conversation about after a month also, that should be considered war crimes -

on niagara falls, he mentions "you're a shining star" which is referencing both his first album and the stargirl interlude i believe
-
and it dropped on (kind of) a Thursday night

what's there to get? it's a trilogy of albums about death, afterlife, and hope for the afterlife and what comes and this album is the grand finale to both his career as the weeknd and the trilogy

The alternate track listing for the "first pressing" version is: "Without Warning", "Cry for Me", "São Paulo", "How It Feels", "Take Me Back to LA", "The Abyss", "Open Hearts", "Timeless", "Give Me Mercy", "Runaway", and "Red Terror" according to wikipedia. idk, maybe it's wrong because hhv had a different tracklist
-
i see it's travis scott on that track. i haven't listened to the full thing yet, you sure it isn't him pitched up?
-
that's not to mention the bonus track either i wonder if all 4 vinyl variants have different tracklists
-
I'm confused. We're missing The Crowd, Regular, In Heaven, and Runaway from the physical

The Weeknd and Lana Del Rey - "THE ABYSS" - OUT NOW!
American Whore replied to That Venice Bitch's topic in New Releases
Produced by Mike Dean, Abel, Metro Boomin, and DaHeala. I'm gonna say it in this thread too, her vocals sound so Blue Banisters to me sooo idk. maybe it's a vocal take from 2021 but then again maybe not -
also not to mention, some of these tracks were meant for the two albums before it. take me back to la was for after hours i believe. does anyone know if he changed the titles from the physical version? there's some tracks missing from the streaming version that are on the physical it's weird there's 2 different versions of it... Abel, Mike Dean, Metro Boomin, and DaHeala produced The Abyss. interesting. i wonder if her part was a vocal take she did with mike dean when they were working together a couple years ago, it sounds very Blue Banisters in the big vocals part and lyrically would make sense for an angry song that never came to fruition
-
probably release more music as abel, just kill off the name. he might work on more movies/tv again though, who knows. he said he's felt like he's done everything he can as the weeknd
-
i mean it is closing up a trilogy so it's meant to share a similar tone and probably a similar sound too. that's the point of doing an end-of-career (for the weeknd moniker) trilogy. to end it the same way he started it
-
do we have liner notes yet? i doubt it but still curious who produced
-
it's only been out 8 minutes girl
-
