Do we have ANY idea where this dress is from? It is so cute. https://twitter.com/LDReyGlobal/status/474226055427809282/photo/1

What is the ritual? Just wondering. Ultraviolence officially comes out for me on the 17th and I have to work that day... So unfortunately I'll probably listen to it before hand when it comes out in one of the other countries and then just delete it off my phone the night before because I pre-ordered it.

Physical Exclusive Bonus Track Revealed: "Flipside"
StealingTheMoonlight replied to Mind Melt's topic in New Releases
I'm SO excited that Flipside will be available at Target because I was just planning on downloading Flipside illegally. I don't have the money to order a boxset (I'm currently saving for a car, pray for me so I don't blow all my money on clothes) and so it's nice that I'll be able to get it legally. I even have a giftcard to Target so I don't have to dip into my ~car~ savings. -
My West Coast didn't change. It just said that I had already purchased it.

Physical Exclusive Bonus Track Revealed: "Flipside"
StealingTheMoonlight replied to Mind Melt's topic in New Releases
I think Lana is doing this because I remember reading somewhere that Lana had to cut down on the songs on Ultraviolence. I think this is Lana's way of giving us all of the songs that she wanted. I mean, Interscope probably doesn't want her to do a 16 song album (or more, if she gives us any more surprises. *crosses fingers*) because I *think* it's typically in contracts how big albums will be, but they probably wouldn't mind letting have exclusive tracks. They know that hardcore fans will buy multiple copies to have every song, if they have the money. -
Promo Single: "SHADES OF COOL" (May 26)
StealingTheMoonlight replied to Sitar's topic in New Releases
No, we haven't. I tried googling it, but what came up is that multiple videos have this "Pseudo Video" in the title (one of them being an Avril Lavinge video). I then saw that there was a wikipedia page for a website called pseudo and it was a website for live video and audio webcasting but went bankrupt in 2000. It's just confusing. No, we haven't. I like the beginning and how it sounds like it's going backwards and then goes into the song. I thought you got a messed up version until I heard the song start, but I love it. -

I really don't want this to leak. Like, we're getting it in less than two days. I'm sure y'all can hold your excitement over. -
For real, I think this is something that is lost in translation when we are discussing the price of things. To be honest, I think 18 is steep FOR ME. But, I'm 16 years old and and don't really like to spend my money because I never really have spending money so I may not be the best person to talk to. I'm just holding out until we get an iTunes pre-order (or the release, if she's not doing an iTunes pre-order) because I don't use actual discs.

Lana Performs at Kim Kardashian's Pre-Wedding Party
StealingTheMoonlight replied to HausOfMark's topic in Appearances
I don't think they will. Actually, I think it's a 50/50 shot. Kim and the rest of her family have said that Kanye doesn't really care for the tv show (not in a bad way) and doesn't want want him or his daughter to be on it. He seems like a really private kind of person and I would imagine that if E! is going to film/document their wedding that he'd like a say in it. Although, they could also just focus on Kim's side of the wedding and get minimal shots of Kanye and North and we get to see Lana sing. Either way, it's their day and I hope they have a wonderful time. They're people just like us and deserve the privacy if they want it. -
I don't think TROPICO was for promotion either, but I think that getting word out on it was kinda sloppy with the last minute tweets and facebook posts. TROPICO was a big deal and Lana put a lot of work into it and I felt that it didn't get the attention it deserved (even though it was kinda weird). I do love Ride and National Anthem, and hope that Cruel World is more like them, but I just don't classify them as short films. But this is all IF this is true. I probably shouldn't be putting too much effort and thought into this, but I'm just too excited for Ultraviolence. (Side question: Is it TROPICO or Tropico? Same with Ultraviolence.. I've been going back and forth all this time.)

Buckle up bitches. If Lana is ~trying~ (keyword:trying) to release another "short film" (I don't think I want to classify TROPICO as a short film, it's just three music videos tied together with a story, but that's a whole different discussion) and it's handled in the same fashion as TROPICO, then we are in for one hell of a ride. I love that she's interested in showing us these projects that she does because we know that's she always been fond of making videos and telling stories, but I don't think that TROPICO was handled in the best fashion. If she wants to do another one, then she needs to have the full support from her label (something I don't think she had the last time around) and they need to handle things properly. With proper release dates, proper venues, and proper promotion. And if it does wind up being like Ride and National Anthem, then I'm going to rip my eyeballs out because those are not short films, they're done up music videos (in my opinion).

They will not just hand you a backstage pass. At my show, the people who got backstage were people who had connections.

Ultraviolence Tracklist Discussion
StealingTheMoonlight replied to lflflflflflflflflflf's topic in Latest News
I don't think Kidz Bop would even touch a song where the original title was "Fucked My Way To The Top"... That would be hilarious though. ANYWAYS, I'm super excited for Old Money and Cruel World. When Lana sang that bit of what I assume to be Cruel World before Cola at her show, it was amazing and it just made me so much more excited for Ultraviolence than I already was. And Old Money just has that title that, to me, evokes such glamour and it makes me really excited. I really, really hope that Old Money has that glamorous sound that makes me feel like a 1950s movie star because that's the vibe I get from it and that's a sound that I love with Lana's voice. But we'll never know until Ultraviolence comes out.. *fingers crossed* -

I don't know. My guess would be picking and choosing battles, or maybe there was just no wiggle room on the title and she had to change it. -

Yes, I think I read somewhere that she wrote "Kill Kill" (the title) out of anger. -
I got the Tropics vest and it is so comfy. Like, I want to live in that shirt. But, be warned if you are a high school student and your school has a strict dress code because the openings for your arms go down pretty "low" (not really for my definition of low, but I would definitely get in trouble realized what I was wearing and almost did).
