I don't have a proper look of your face! If I did, and I saw you, I would've definitely said hi! Next time..

That's so interesting! I didn't know anything like this could exist. This is a little off topic, but this picture is beautiful and she looks stunning, do we have anymore photos from this performance?

5 PM? Jeez, that's so late. Anyways, when you get there ask an employee what to do because it may be different at every venue. I was at The Tabernacle and there were two lines for Ticketmaster tickets and Adventures in Wonderland tickets, like what omgitsandrew said. Also, if you're going with someone, either you or them hold a spot in line while the other gets the tickets. At my venue, if you went alone and the people around you weren't willing to hold your spot for you, you had to go to the end of the line once you got your ticket if you already had a spot, which would be awful and you definitely don't want that. But the people at my show were really nice and the people at your show would probably be really nice as well. Have fun!

New 'Ultraviolence' Song Title: "Money, Power, and Glory"
StealingTheMoonlight replied to Sitar's topic in Latest News
Anyways, I'm super excited about Money, Power, and Glory! Of course I want Lana to progress and experiment but of course I'd love a song (or two) that have Born to Die influences. Also, with a name like Money, Power, and Glory, I'm super intrigued on the lyrics and on the story it tells, if it tells a story. (I love it when her songs tell stories, I make little music videos in my head) -
New 'Ultraviolence' Song Title: "Money, Power, and Glory"

I bought Nylon, and Nylon always has really tacky outfits. Except Lana, she looked SO good. Also, you'd be able to give us a translation. It sounds like she's giving us some real information in this interview and I live in the United States and my French 1 skills will not suffice translating this, I could only make out bits and pieces. ~Still proud.~ -
Oh, I know. I've been waiting for 2 years for her to do a show here! I'm super excited!

The Tabernacle. I haven't lived here for very long so I didn't really know what the venue was like, so when I was telling everyone that I had gotten tickets and they asked me where it was, they were really surprised because the venue was so small.
-
How many people were at your venue? My venue can hold about 2,000 people and there are balconies, luckily I'm on the ground.

Ugh, I wish. But AP and final exams are coming up and I have to retake the damn National French Exam again the day of my concert because some dipshit lost our fucking results.

So... I have to go to school when she comes and my mom said she's going to pick me up and won't start waiting until 6... Are my chances that bad of getting a good spot? I'm expecting the worse.

This is so exciting! I love Call Me by St. Paul & The Broken Bones AND we'll be getting West Coast too!

New 'Ultraviolence' Song Title: "Cruel World"

Forreal tho. Jesus didn't die on the cross and come back three days later for bullshit names like that. #HappyEaster. -
I think part of the reason that Lana hasn't given us the tracklist is because it would make the chances of the album leaking much higher, and that's definitely something we don't want after what we've seen about how certain leaks can impact her. If she hadn't told us about Black Beauty, it wouldn't have leaked and I feel like she knows this now and is conscious of that. We were officially told about West Coast a week before it was debuted which gives the some some time to hype up and get more people excited. I think that's why she's held off on telling us anything because she knows that if she tells us something too early, such as song titles, it runs a higher risk of leaking. I think everything has been precisely timed in how it would be presented, tracklists, singles, covers and more, because they're really trying to make sure nothing leaks.

I thought the same thing about West Coast not amazing me at first, except for the choruses they BLEW me away when I first heard it halfway asleep at 5:45 in the morning, but West Coast is truly one of those songs that gets better the more you listen to it. I also love the synth in the final chorus; I think it's really cool sounding and just makes me sway. This was the kind of music I picture when I think of "Ultraviolence" and I'm super excited to see what else Lana has in store for us.

Do you guys think that if I wake up and start to listen to the radio when it's 6 for me 11 for Ferne I could still catch the premiere? 5 am on Mondays aren't really an ideal time for waking up...

Calm down. This is a place for people to discuss Lana and give their opinions. I'm not trying to sound rude, but you sound like a 15 year old girl who's best friend doesn't agree with your crush. This thread is for discussion about West Coast. If you want to have this conversation, take it to the appropriate thread.
