Honestly I think if you remove 1999, Blame It On Your Love, White Mercedes and Official and throw in some monthly drops then it seems more like a Charli project... 01. Next Level Charli 02. Thoughts 03. Silver Cross 04. Click (ft. Kim Petras & Tommy Cash) 05. 5 In The Morning 06. Warm (ft. HAIM) 07. I Don't Wanna Know 08. Gone (ft. Christine And The Queens) 09. Cross You Out (ft. Sky Ferreira) 10. Shake It (ft. Big Freedia, cupcakKe, Brooke Candy & Pabllo Vittar) 11. Focus 12. February 2017 (ft. Clairo & Yaeji) 13. 2099 (ft. Troye Sivan) The other tracks would've made a nice little GP friendly EP from her, maybe pre-album? 01. Girls Night Out 02. 1999 (ft. Troye Sivan) 03. No Angel 04. Boys 05. White Mercedes 06. Blame It On Your Love (ft. Lizzo) 07. Official

The fact that the majority of her tour merch was designed with no angel written on it and she didn't even perform it, she's such a troll

So, now we've had a couple more tracks I decided to create my own version of Manic, I didn't really enjoy the original record as much as I'd hoped... However this new version, I love. 01. Nightmare 02. Labels (with Alanis Morissette) 03. 3am 04. Without Me 05. Graveyard 06. The Other Girl (with Kelsea Ballerini) 07. You Should Be Sad 08. More 09. I'm Not Mad 10. Experiment On Me 11. 11 Minutes (with YUNGBLUD and Travis Barker) 12. Wipe Your Tears 13. Manic Deluxe Version: 14. Die For Me (with Post Malone and Future) 15. Bad Dreams (with Bring Me The Horizon) 16. Without Me (with Juice WRLD) 17. Graveyard - acoustic 18. You Should Be Sad - acoustic I retitled the Alanis Interlude to Labels (just cos there's no other interludes), Ashley to Manic (just so there was a title track - and although the production isn't manic, I think lyrically it makes sense?) and ? to Bad Dreams (it just looked out of place and I thought it worked well with Nightmare)

Yeah... I thought Forever was really promising in terms of some artistic growth and change in her career (especially after Charli being a bit of a dud)... I enjoy Claws but like many have said it's Charli on autopilot. I really hope the poppers song doesn't make it and we get some tracks that sound different and are out of her comfort zone. I dunno everyone goes on about her changing pop music and being a pioneer etc. And I did see it, even with Sucker, there was nothing like that by a female pop star at that time. Obviously she kinda made PC music more mainstream and Vroom Vroom and the mixtapes were very influential to others but right now she seems stuck? And like, I know it's not her job to constantly challenge pop music trends and expectations, she does the mainstream stuff too and it's great! But I'd kinda like to see refresh her style a little bit now... I guess my biggest fear is that she's gonna be stuck in this soundscape for a while (I mean we're 5 projects deep now with this sound) or she'll try and do True Romance 2.0 for the angels. Neither of those seem appealing to me.

Erm, American Dream (Miley What's Good?) leaked first in 2019, was confirmed as part of the albums final tracklist in November. Then Angels Like You, California Dreaming, Gimme What I Want, I Really Wish I Hated You (with Blink 182), If I Die and Win Some... None of these leaks were part of the tracklist in November; I'm assuming they were either for the EPs or outtakes from the album.

It's delayed due to covid-19, Bad Karma is the lead single promoting the album campaign... The other 2 EPs have been scrapped and a few leftover songs from the album sessions have leaked
  12. Honestly singles wise I go... Official: Mariners Apartment Complex Venice Bitch Doin Time Norman Fucking Rockwell Promo: Hope Is A Dangerous Thing... Fuck It, I Love You The Greatest
  13. Okay after doing some research, turns out Ultraviolence made Top 100 in the US and Dark Paradise charted quite well in Europe. I added Music To Watch Boys To despite charting terribly, just to make it so Honeymoon appeared more than once. So I attempted to compile a greatest hits album, if you like. The version I listen made replaces any album versions with radio edits / radio mixes. 01. Video Games 02. Summertime Sadness 03. Norman Fucking Rockwell 04. Love 05. High By The Beach 06. Doin Time 07. West Coast 08. Blue Jeans 09. Summer Bummer (feat. A$AP Rocky and Playboi Carti) 10. Music To Watch Boys To 11. Ride 12. Mariners Apartment Complex 13. Ultraviolence 14. Dark Paradise 15. Lust For Life (feat. The Weeknd) 16. National Anthem 17. Young And Beautiful 18. Born To Die
  14. So, I was thinking about a potential greatest hits / best of album from Lana Del Rey and how that would sound. I think her biggest market in terms of singles is the UK? So I compiled this list, based on her UK chart positions... It's nice to see 3 singles from Norman make the final list considering only 1 single made it from Ultraviolence and Honeymoon; next to each song is the peak position it charted. 01. Summertime Sadness (#04) 02. Video Games (#09) 03. Born To Die (#09) 04. West Coast (#21) 05. Young And Beautiful (#23) 06. Blue Jeans (#32) 07. Ride (#32) 08. Lust For Life (#38) 09. Love (#41) 10. Doin Time (#42) 11. Norman Fucking Rockwell (#44) 12. High By The Beach (#60) 13. Mariners Apartment Complex (#79) 14. Summer Bummer (#81) 15. Brooklyn Baby (#86) 16. National Anthem (#92)
  15. Lust For Life (tried to capture the hopeful/free spirit/festival vibe) 01. Love 02. Lust For Life (ft. The Weeknd) 03. Groupie Love (ft. A$AP Rocky) 04. Coachella - Woodstock In My Mind 05. When The World Was At War We Kept Dancing 06. Heroin 07. Tomorrow Never Came (ft. Sean Ono Lennon) 08. God Bless America - And All The Beautiful Women In It 09. Change 10. Beautiful People, Beautiful Problems (ft. Stevie Nicks) 11. Yosemite 12. Get Free Norman Fucking Rockwell 01. Norman Fucking Rockwell 02. Love Song 03. Happiness Is A Butterfly 04. Cinnamon Girl 05. California 06. Venice Bitch 07. Fuck It, I Love You 08. Doin Time 09. Mariners Apartment Complex 10. The Greatest 11. Looking For America 12. Bartender 13. Hope Is A Dangerous Thing For A Woman Like Me To Have - But I Have It

    Carly Rae Jepsen

okay, so like, she's great! never really listened to her music besides the radio hits but got into emotion, side b and dedicated lately and fuck! amazing
  20. "but she could never quite string together a complete album of songs worth listening to" wow, i would have to disagree with this statement, i know it's all opinion etc. but for me personally i find ultraviolence and honeymoon to be her most cohesive and fulfilling projects - with no skips.

wait so dreams was the title of a song from the 24hr album she did in 2017 and she also had a song on that project called 7 days (potentially reworked into 7 years?), love that we're being dripfed that project with every release since.
