Truth is Sky fucked up her own career regardless of label interference, there's countless indie acts pop or otherwise that have released DISCOGRAPHIES in between her >5 single drops since her last album album released in Twenty-fucking-Thirteen. There really is no excuse for her. She should've just done what Charli did & released albums and just marketed them as mixtapes. I'm a Sky fan sine 99 Tears & will still listen to whatever she puts out, but she herself is dumb and it's sad to see her own career be self-sabotaged

I don't hate Don't Forget, but I do hate that we waited literal years for a song that feels like she hasn't musically progressed since 2013. I think that's where a lot of the pushback is coming from. Say whatever you want about the song, good or bad, but the fact is you could slot it ANYWHERE into NTMT's tracklist & it would fit. Honestly I'm just hoping the album if/when/should it ever come out has more diversity. Lost In My Bedroom is one of my favorite Sky songs; she shouldn't be afraid to do more stuff like that, and at this point it would be more "unexpected" than the shoegaze-y pop sound

The Northman. I really love Robert Eggers (The VVitch is one of my favorite movies) & seeing him do something so big budget was amazing. I'm also DEEPLY into Norse mythology & wasn't expecting the movie to be as mystical and pull from actual Norse sagas as much as it did. Plus seeing all these jacked 6"5 dudes with eight packs has got me back on my workout schedule out of shame.
