Earlier today, Lana Del Rey celebrated Easter with friends and family at her home in Los Angeles, California. Those in attendance include Lana's sister Chuck Grant, their brother Charlie Grant, close friend Sveta Matiunina, close friend and dancer Alex Kaye, and Alex's fiancé Curtis Sumlin.

This reminds me of a very traumatic day where I got tea from Starbucks and tried to balance it on my friend’s car and it immediately toppled over and spilled everywhere so then I went back inside to get another one and then as I was walking back out I tripped in the parking lot and that one spilled everywhere too. Lol no, I actually ended up not going My best friend was coming into town to visit and stay with me and kept telling me her flight was on Thursday, but earlier this morning she messaged me saying her flight was actually today So I had to miss out on the show. Next time though! x

Anyway, Lana did an interview with BHMAGAZINO in 2014 where she revealed she was suffering from gastric ulcers, which is probably what this was: ”I’m on tour in America since the first days of April, it’s the first time I play so many shows and everything goes exceptionally well. These past two years I don’t feel very well physically, I suffer from gastric ulcer, but I can make it through concerts who’s capacity can be over 9,000 people. I smoke, I drink a lot of coffee. I eat chocolate and pizza. My way of living when I’m not on tour isn’t that right.” In the same interview, she also mentioned suffering with depression as well: ”I feel like I make happy songs, but when others listen to them, they think they’re sad. I can’t escape from my life, which has been wavy. Three years after my debut album, I’m still suffering from self-doubt and depression. Ahead of me there’s uncertainty and a feeling of emptiness. I don’t like it when I don’t know where I’m going. My love life, my family – are so fragile. I’m not sure of anything.”

Kali just retweeted this tweet from January about finishing her next album! Now that she’s done with tour, she’ll have time to really finish polishing it up.. I could definitely see KU3 coming before the end of the year, maybe even by late summer or autumn!

Most of Tropico was filmed in Chatsworth, including the G&M scene at a club called The Candy Cat. (It closed in 2017, but they have another location called Candy Cat Too in Winnetka.) I would also assume Bel Air was shot in Chatsworth or at least somewhere nearby, since they shot all of Tropico in a 3-day span x
